The food was delicious. The Ghee Masala Dosa was crispy, the idli was fluffy. The sambar was tasty, took me back to India. The chicken lollipop was yummy and the chicken chettinadu had the right amount of spice. The highlight was the filter coffee.

We had the chicken Korma as we can’t handle too much spice. It came with a little vermicelli dessert and salad. Flavour was on point.
I also tried the idly and vada, which was perfect. The green and red chutney took me back to my days in Bombay when a guy on a cycle would sell idlys every morning – exact same flavor

Good thing is you can find parking spots easily.Now coming to food, they have open kitchen windows so can see how clean they are and food quality is really good. Dosa is authentic but sambhar is average, they need to improve chatni. Try their Biryani which is different style but good in quality as well. Good service.

We ordered a Rockford Masala Dosa, Paneer Dosa and the Idly Vada combo along with a filter coffee. Food is really delicious and better than my expectations. It was quite authentic and we savoured every bite. Thanks to Shiva for providing great service at all times.

I heard that the Rockfort was great. It did not disappoint. Came here with a friend today for lunch. We each had the lunch combo, I had the butter chicken and my friend had the lamb korma. They were both delicious. There was so much food and even had dessert included in the price. We will definitely return.

We had a very nice experience at Rockfort today. Very tasty south Indian food and great portion size. This is the first time I loved the utthapam in this restaurant in Calgary, it was of correct thickness and kind of crispy. All other places where I have eaten uttapam were too thick and sometimes raw/uncooked in middle.
The ambiance needs some upgrades but overall the food was delicious

Spacious and open setting for a quick meal with family & friends. There’s an open kitchen here, which makes for a good viewing while waiting for the food. We ordered the ghee roast & onion rava dosa for the mains and chicken lollipops to start. The chicken was juicy and had the right amount of flavour. The dosas were amazing – complemented very well by the chutneys. Also, definitely recommend getting their filter coffee to go with the dosas!

Great place to dine in for authentic South Indian food, especially chettinadu style food. The spice levels are apt and the quantity was also good. Me and my family will definitely go again and overall nice experience.
