I was so excited to see that An Roll Play opened up in the Rosslyn/Arlington area! I’ve been to their location over in Tysons before and loved it, so it’s great to now have one closer by. The fact that it’s open 24/7 is a huge plus — I actually stopped in after a late-night flight because I was starving and needed something quick but good.
The space itself is really large, very clean, modern, and nicely decorated upstairs. It definitely has more of an order-to-go, quick dash-in-and-out vibe. Just a heads up — it’s a little confusing at first because you have to go upstairs to order. I was waiting downstairs for a bit before realizing, so a sign that says “Order Upstairs” would be helpful.
At first I thought parking might be tricky since it’s on a busy corner, but there’s actually plenty of parking — you just have to go around. There’s also plenty of seating once you head upstairs.
Overall, the food looked very fresh and appetizing. I ordered a bowl and really enjoyed it. Fast service, great late-night option, and a solid addition to the Arlington area. I’ll definitely be back!

This was one of the absolute best phos and soups I have ever had!!! Thank you for being one of the only businesses that doesn’t use seed oils, and who also has low carb konjac noodles and high quality meats available. I am so blown away by the fact that the beef is 100% grassfed, pork is humane and pasture raised, and chicken is humane, halal and antibiotic free. Also it’s all sourced from the organic butcher of McLean. Another wow factor. I can’t wait to come back tomorrow for another bowl of soup!!! Also, BOGO Uber Eats were a great way to get us in don’t sleep on the deals – they gave us 3 mango sago desserts in mason jars for free!

Carryout is on the ground level. Dine-in is upstairs. You order at kiosks. Once you figure all that they offer the process is simple. The food came quick and piping hot. The phi broth was average. The shrimp tenderness and generous amount was the start of the show. The spicy chili wings were just okay. Glad we tried this spot but won’t return.

I LOVE this place. I always stop here when in DC. I was worried that they would have changed chefs with their new rebrand but the pho is just as heavenly as ever. Very simple dining experience, order at kiosk, receive food to table. It’s kind of designed for quick meals for those working in the area which is how I found it. I highly recommend the spicy oxtail pho broth with whichever protein you like. Downstairs is now a separate restaurant so be mindful of that.

We ordered Wagyu Beef Steak Pho twice from UberEats. It was delicious and very comforting. Very flavorful broth and tons of fresh garnishes in addition to a wholesome portion, couldn’t ask for more. Also we got some complementary dessert jars that were absolutely delicious. We got both Mango Sago and the Strawberry Matcha. Even though both were equivalently good I liked the Mango Sago more. I wonder if they could use fresh strawberries instead of frozen in the Strawberry Matcha jar so it’d taste fresh for longer time. For me it’s going to be my go-to Pho place from now on.

I was genuinely impressed by how fresh and flavorful everything tasted. We sampled several dishes and each one was prepared beautifully and full of taste. It is definitely a place I would recommend to anyone nearby.

Mediocre Vietnamese foods including their pho and vermicelli. Based on the description they use high quality, grass fed meat and no seed oils which is amazing to hear. But considering the quality of the ingredient, the taste isn’t amazing and the portions esp for the all beef pho was quite lacking. The chicken vermicelli was fine. I paid an extra dollar for shrimp and pork egg rolls instead of the veggie rolls but I don’t think they gave me the right one. If they did, I couldn’t taste the shrimp at all. The restaurant vibe is grungy.

It’s my first time trying this restaurant, and it did not disappoint. The food, interior, and service are good. Waiting time, doesn’t take long. The place is clean. Portion size is large and makes u full. I would recommend the wagyu steak pho. There is so much meat and it is overall delicious.

Tried the restaurant for the first time. The food needs improvement. I ordered the Wagyu Pho with extra brisket. The broth was lukewarm and oily, and the pho did not have much meat despite ordering extra.
The meat was tasty, but the small portions of noodles and meat do not justify the price.
The atmosphere is modern, and the restaurant is clean. Service was quick, and the staff were friendly.

I’ve been coming to Roll Play for a few years now, and it’s always my go-to spot for quick and delicious Vietnamese takeout. The food is consistently fresh, flavorful, and satisfying, and the staff are always friendly and helpful — I really appreciate that!
My usual order is the Chicken Noodle Salad Bowl (no egg rolls!), and it never disappoints. Highly recommend this place if you’re looking for great Vietnamese food and excellent service.
