I recently visited this coffee shop and I have to say, I was extremely disappointed with the service. When I walked in, no one even acknowledged my presence at the counter. I waited for a good 10 minutes before leaving, despite there only being six other people in the entire venue whom were all seated.

Discovered today the secret that most Kansas Citians who love coffee already know: the Roasterie is a solid choice for those who love good coffee and pastries. Ordered a cortado and a couple pastries. The cortado was perfect, accompanied by a carbonated mineral water and a small disc of André’s espresso chocolate, gratis. There was a problem with pastry (not as described), and despite the snafu (for which the barista offered everything from a replacement to a refund), I was ecstatic with the experience. The pastry I did have was delectable (all the pastries in the house were provided by the exemplary folks at Ibis), and the service over and above.

I almost always get a Crunched for Time here and have tried other things, and it’s almost always been delicious. However personally just not my cup of tea (or coffee lol) as the drinks aren’t very sweet. But the seasonal iced Chai-der is to DIE for. I miss it everyday and was my favorite thing on the menu. The baristas are always so nice and friendly and it’s a very welcoming atmosphere. Also love the pride flag up front ️ ️ !!

Nice coffeeshop hidden from the street but has a fair amount of business. The seating is comfortable and plentiful. There is plenty of free parking and some reserved spot for to go orders. It’s one of our go to coffee shops.
