I’ve been buying espresso beans from the Roasterie for years and have spent hundreds of dollars monthly on their products. That ends today.
I drove 20 minutes to pick up a large bag of beans, only to be told that the mountain of bags prominently displayed in the front is “not for sale” and they had nothing available for me to purchase. Let me make sure I understand: you’re a coffee roaster with bags of coffee on display, but you can’t sell coffee to a paying customer?
The employee offered what I can only describe as performative sympathy—the kind of hollow “so sorry” that makes the experience worse, not better. No solutions offered. No attempt to make it right. Just a shrug dressed up as customer service.
It’s baffling that a business would stage their entire inventory as décor while turning away loyal customers empty-handed. If you don’t want to sell your product, don’t put it on display.
You’ve lost a devoted customer—not just at your storefront, but at every local retailer that carries your products. Congratulations on that achievement.

My name is Fares Alves, and I am a coffee producer from Brazil.
I would like to introduce our Brazilian green coffee (unroasted and unground), which will soon be available for export to the United States.
Our coffee is produced in Minas Gerais, one of Brazil’s main coffee-growing regions, in a mountain area at approximately 1,100 meters of altitude.
This high-altitude environment provides a mild climate and slow cherry maturation, resulting in coffees with good sweetness, balance, and a clean cup profile.
We work with careful harvesting and well-controlled post-harvest processes, focusing on quality and consistency. Our coffees are suitable for both specialty and premium commercial roasters.
We would be happy to share more details, such as:
Coffee varieties
Processing methods
Crop availability and volumes
Samples for evaluation
Please feel free to contact me if you are interested in learning more about our coffee or discussing a potential partnership.
Best regards,
Fares Alves

This place is really cool! The building looks really neat, & the staff friendly. I unfortunately didn’t know what to get since I can only get decaf. I bought the Italian soda & it wasn’t the best in my opinion. I’ll definitely try the only decaf option next time! The smells in the building were amazing! I hope to return & take a tour of the factory!

They have a wide variety of coffee and food as you find a in typical coffee shop. The brown cinnamon cold brew was very good.

While I cannot provide a review of the food or atmosphere at The Roasterie Factory Cafe since I don’t live nearby, a friend from Kansas City brought a bag of Autumn Harvest coffee to me, and it was so delicious, I had to purchase a large bag to last me through the Fall.

In addition to the coffee being my new favorite, the customer service was amazing. I had signed up to get 20% off my first order but did not receive it. I sent an email and was promptly awarded the 20% off. Kudos to The Roasterie. I hope to be able to visit someday.

VISITED WEDNESDAY, JULY 3, 2024
Boy o boy, wish we came to this coffee shop before the previous one! It’s really interesting! Lots to look at! The main attraction is the large vintage airplane overtop of the shop. This must be their main hub. We did get beverages here: Chai Tea Latte, a horchata coffee (can’t remember the correct name) and a black iced tea. I enjoyed my coffee and so did my husband (tea) and daughter. They sure know how to make a drink. While waiting, I noticed you can take tours of the Roasterie. Would’ve loved to if we’d known and had time. The shop was full of varieties of coffees and other take home keepsakes. The coffee area has pastries and breakfast items too. And the come from another local coffee shop down the road. That is where we went first! See review!
It was easy to find, lots of places to sit inside and outside and a lot to observe.
I look forward to returning here in the future!

Truly an above average coffee experience.

With factory tours and roasting on site, this is definitely a place you need to take in.

Coffee Cupping experience. Unique, and so enjoyable. Tours. Nitro infused coffee as well.

Baristas are very particular, and the coffee we ordered was handcrafted perfectly.

Definitely will be coming next time we travel through town.

We took the factory tour on a Saturday morning and had an excellent time. Our tour guide was knowledgeable and funny. We were able to sample several versions of their cold brew at the end which was excellent as well. Definitely stop by if you are in the area.

I would give 10 stars if I could! On this trip I discovered a gem of KC: the roasterie! So I booked a tour at their factory and I am so glad I did. Not only it comes for a great value (5 dollars) but it provides a 1 hour long tour into the origins of coffee, the roasting and the final products. They take their coffee seriously and you see it.
Special mention to Eric that made our experience unforgettable by sharing his passion and knowledge about coffee in a entertaining yet professional way. Their Nitro cold brew is – secured a couple of bags of beans to bring home as a souvenir! I recommend to anyone that loves coffee, you’ll leave with a deeper understanding of the end to end production and you’ll get to appreciate your coffee more. Unfortunately in Europe I can’t find them… yet
