Some of the best chicken tenders I’ve ever had! I got the mac and cheese on the side—so creamy and flavorful—and the tiramisu was absolutely delicious! This place is excellent. Super friendly owner, she wants to make sure you enjoy your food. The different chickens are phenomenal and the chicken vesuvio was incredible. Small place that does some excellent work. Keep an eye on their weekly specials. We will continue to come back.

This little restaurant is amazing!!! I had the half chicken, Puerto Rican style. The chicken was so tender and juicy and the seasoning was just perfect! The arroz con gandules tasted so authentic and delicious. My friend had the smash burger and he loved it. And that thing was huge!! He could only eat half and took the rest home for his dinner. The atmosphere was very cute and the service was excellent! I highly recommend stopping here for a meal. They do dine in and carry out and the prices are very reasonable. This is the best meal I have had while dining out in a very long time. I will definitely be back!!!

WOW! Just tried this place last night and I’m seriously impressed. The woman who took my order over the phone was incredibly nice. We ordered zucchini sticks, loaded chicken fries, and Puerto Rican chicken. Everything was delicious! The breading on the crispy chicken and the zucchini sticks is probably the best I’ve ever had in my life. I’m so excited to try more things from here!

Fantastic chicken! If you are looking for a fantastic homemade meal that mom used to make (any of the options) come in and try out this chicken! The owners are so sweet and take time to put the love into their food. If you are needing a delicious dipping sauce I highly recommend the Puerto Rican sauce!!

First off, it’s located at the back of the Sandwich freedom hall. Took us a second to find the place but we are super glad we did. The food was amazing. Fresh ingredients and great flavor. Good portions and very affordable. Highly recommend !!

Food was delicious!! But…. The restaurant was freezing- some us had to eat with our coat on It was so cold. 2 of us were going to the opera house for a show and decided to eat first. We were able to sit right down. So I would call the restaurant overly busy. We ordered fried zucchini sticks and they really good – too 25 minutes for them to come out.
I ordered the chicken sandwich and my husband ordered the Greek chicken. Both delicious but my bun was so burned I had to remove it and it took 45 minutes for our food!!!!!
Waitress brought our food out but never came back. We needed napkins etc. had to get the busboy to get us water.
If you order soda they bring you a can, no glass is ice or straw.
They need to hire more help when there are events.

Unbelieveably fantastic scratch kitchen. Everything Alex makes is incredible. The rotation specials are a testimate to his creativity and never miss. I legit get cravings for the loaded chicken fries. You also can’t beat the price for what you get. Cannot recommend the Rooster enough!

Worth the drive!! Amazing food “like a hug from the kitchen” and the friendliest people redefine comfort food. We had the chicken & waffle sandwich, Mexican chicken & Puerto Rican chicken – all three were so delicious! The cannoli pie was such a surprise, as was the delightful conversation with Sharayn (and tastes of their award winning mac & cheese!!) Loved every moment of this experience & look forward to visiting again!
