Nice and picturesque restaurant. Food was good (burger with Huckleberry sauce) and owners were very friendly even if I was the only customer that evening. Thank you.

Came for lunch already knowing what I would like. Ordered a basic cheeseburger with LTP, no onions still working for the day. I ordered the side of Noodles and gravy, as I’ve had them a year ago. Burger was cooked right, not much flavor though and veggies were fresh. The noodles were OK, the gravy was just warm, but didn’t want to bother as they were busy on noon time run. Overall it was good!
Only issue, is I had to ask for water refills. Overall will visit again. Great job

We didn’t go there because we’re German but because we liked the quaint interior.
Our server was awesome, she ran the whole place all on her own and was going 100mph without missing out on anything.
The food tasted delicious, we had burgers and potato and cucumber salad on the side. While the restaurant claims that some of the dishes are German, we wouldn’t confirm that the sides, like the potato and cucumber salad, were traditionally German or tasted like at home but we didn’t care at all. We’d never demand food to taste like at home. If we would, we could as well just stay at home 🙂
Lovely place! Absolutely recommend.

The Curry Sausage is fantastic!! Tried Schnitzel too, in a Reuben, for the first time…I’ve been missing out, it was amazing, and a very large serving. The atmosphere is so cozy and eclectic!

Tried out the Road Agent Roost in Virginia City today. Gotta say, it’s pretty nicely set up. We went on a hot day, which isn’t usual around here, so it wasn’t air-conditioned and was really warm inside. As for the food, I tried the potato pancakes, but they weren’t quite right. The currywurst was okay, but not great. The best dish was surprisingly not German: the bison potato soup. It tasted like homemade potato soup with bison. Too bad there weren’t any Frankfurters or Bockwurst. The daily specials were all American dishes. Overall, it’s a tasty change of pace here in Montana, but it’s not an authentic German spot. The nice lady running the place is worth the visit if you just want something good to eat, but don’t expect it to be authentically German.

First off the owner is great and we really enjoyed talking with her. However, the food is not good. The burgers don’t come with any toppings or sauces. A dry piece of meat and slice of cheese. The chicken was very dry. Recommend the Owner increase the quality of the food especially at the price.

We all had the special, but each had different sides. We all thought our meals were very tasty.
