Met with family here on a Saturday for lunch, and was pleasantly surprised! Great atmosphere, with a wood burning fire place that made it cozy. Food was great and service was even better. A recommended stop in this small town.

Huge and delicious chicken sandwich and the Mac salad is not to be missed. Artichoke dip scared me with the chile, but it did not over power the dip. The dip had quarters of artichoke hearts and the size of everything was substantial.

My Aunt from Georgia was up here visiting, and we were in Maupin around lunch time. We went looking for a fast food restaurant, but there weren’t any? So we settled for the Riverside because it was the only place open. We were very pleased with the service, and the food was Excellent!!! I will definitely come here again!

Wonderful service and a great location. The spinach and artichoke dip was wonderful! The Chicken sandwich was lacking of flavor and the Burger with peanut butter was borderline bitter. Assuming an organic peanut butter? Not bagging either, just wouldn’t order again. Got the Riverside taters and sides, they were awesome. Definitely would come back!

This is a total gem of a place in Maupin with very affordable prices, yet big portions and big on flavor. The Mac and Cheese was absolutely delicious, and the Lavender Lemonade super refreshing and tasty!
The outside patio has great sunset views of the town and the Deschutes river, and the service was friendly and engaging.
Will definitely be back next time in town!
