Fabulous place to eat! The views are incredible, the service is excellent and the food is delicious. Large portions, bring your appetite! The lunch specials are reasonably priced but the portions are big. The meatloaf is moist and flavorful. The fried mushrooms, in a light batter, are a must. I don’t remember the chicken dish by name, but it was perfect. I can’t wait until my next trip to Arkansas! This place will be on my list of places I have to go.

Being by the water was really cool, and the service was really good. The food was good, but I would not say great. However, ordering A’jus with the steak that I had and mashed potatoes really made it taste quite good. Do not order the artichoke dip and chips. The chips were excellent, but the artichoke dip was dry. My friend had the hamburger and he said it was solid and another person had the loaded grilled cheese and they said it was fantastic. So you got some options with all kinds of variety of food. This place really does accommodate big parties so that is a real bonus.

This was the worst restaurant I have ever ate. Food was cold and over cooked. I believe they left it under the warmer too long to serve our party of 8. My husband and I ordered lower cost food from the menu and our bill was over $75. I ordered fried mushrooms and they were floating in grease. Friends ordered steak medium and medium rare and they were hard and cold.

Macie was our waitress she was very friendly and even though very busy checked in on us very often. I left her a tip, But did not tip the restaurant. I pay cash on the tip so it doesn’t go to the store revenue. We arrived at 620pm. Waited for about 35 minutes to get seated(655pm) and we were a party of 2 that got pushed back because they were seating bigger parties first. Sat for about 10 minutes before order was taken(705). Waited for 20 minutes before I had to ask about rolls. Wife ordered Chicken. I ordered Pull Pork Sandwich. Food was severed at 727pm. My pulled pork was pretty dry and had to be covered in BBQ sauce to eat it. The chicken was dry also and had to be covered in BBQ sauce to be able to eat it. Also ordered one blue Margarita. It tasted like pure tequila no mix and was pretty strong. Not a drink to be with a meal for sure. Now we are taking the food home to see if the dogs will touch it. My 6 dogs are picky. We ate here a month ago and said then we would not be back. I’m a 2 or 3 stikes person. This makes number 3 that they disappoint on the food. I’m a food person!!!

Not consistent on what foods taste like it’s different evertime . Not satisfied very disappointed , also got to the car checked order they forgot all the condiments and went back got them then when got home they also forgot pickles that belong on the grilled chicken so ranch for the muchrroms and mayo ,mustard , and pickles. I could understand if they were busy but there was only a handful of people there eating lunch…

We were there about 12:30 on a Thursday. Everything was outstanding! I agree it’s a bit pricey but for us it will be a treat restaurant we definitely will go back to. We live in Searcy so it’s a little jaunt for us. But what a great surprise. Loved the atmosphere too! We were not that hungry so we just got 3 appetizers and tax and all it was $30.

We made a reservation for a large group and later called to confirm it, only to be told that the restaurant did not have our reservation on file. This was extremely frustrating, especially since coordinating a large group takes time and planning. The lack of organization and communication caused unnecessary stress and forced us to make last-minute alternative arrangements. Unfortunately, this experience makes it hard to recommend this restaurant.

Let me start by saying that I don’t normally write reviews, but this place definitely deserves one. The River used to be a very good place to eat, but in the past few months it has really went downhill. Went in today for a MEDIUM RARE steak and french fries. I received six (6)!!!! fries.. they were burnt as well. The medium rare steak I ordered actually came out well done. Definitely not edible. Very similar to something I’d feed my dog, if I hated it lol. I will never be back, and neither should you.

I ordered medium sirloin steak on my birthday yesterday dinner. When i got my steak it was well done. I automatically informed the waitress about it and so she went to informed the kitchen about my steak she went back and said that they want to see the steak and she did brought it to them. She went back and said that they’re doing my steak. 10mins pass maybe or longer. But she brought my steak and it was medium unseasoned and burn outside. I am not sure if the kitchen did it intentionally out of spike or idk if they’re kitchen is just the worst. I didn’t even want to complain again caught i hate to waste the food. I only had 3 bites but didn’t eat anymore cause it was unseasoned and burnt after taste. They gave $15 discount and she also forget my husband’s salad so we just take out the salad because she forgot about it. But it was a big disappointment specially on my birthday it seems like every time we go there, there’s someone going on. The waitress was distracted and the kitchen is a mess.
