11/27/25 We had a Turkey dinner and it was delicious. The wait is less than 10 minutes. They also serve our food in a good amount of time. The staff are very friendly and nice.
11/29/25 Another yummy dinner after a long day hike. Everything was fresh and filling.

Food was fine, service was good. We were seated right away and waiter and staff were attentive. Alfredo was bland and needed salt and pepper. Marsala flavor was decent, but accompanying veggies were steamed, cold, and no seasoning. There are limited dining options when staying at Yosemite View Lodge and as long as your expectations aren’t too high, this will get the job done.

Wonderful, easy and yummy dinner! Steak was cooked perfectly, service was great; fun and quiet atmosphere…not sure why there are so many bad reviews, but they are probably from rude tourists who think they deserve red carpet treatment and likey don’t tip the hard-working employees. I loved that there were goldfish on the salad bar!

Mashed potatoes (which were a side to a trout entree) and pizza (I got a cheese with mushroom and olives added) were a hit. The alfredo didn’t have much flavor and the fried ravioli were not great. Went for dinner twice because it was basically the only nearby choice and the service the first night was great but it took way too long the second night. Less staff because of shoulder season. Not recommended but okay.

Would give 0 if I could. $45 for lettuce leaves and shrivelled up chicken bones. And took 20 min to prepare. Unsure what they’re doing in that kitchen. Avoid unless you like to waste money

Burger with everything on it, 1/2 pounder, yummy fries, and huge salad bar for $23. In an area with 2 options, this hit the spot after a long day of hiking in Yosemite. Sat in the bar and watched three college football games. Service was friendly and attentive.

For being one of the few restaurants in the area, it’s honestly better than I expected from all these reviews. The service was great- 5/5. Food- could’ve been better but great for what it was. Amazing & fresh salad bar. I’d recommend.

We stayed at Yosemite View Lodge so this is the closest restaurant we can go to. I was initially hesitant to try it because some of the recent review ratings were low but because we’re so tired and don’t wanna drive we decided to try them out. I ordered Pepper and Blue Ranch Steak while my boyfriend ordered New York Steak. We also got to try their salad bar for appetizer. Their salad bar doesn’t have a ton of choices but enough variety (greens, tomatoes, beans, chickpeas, onions, cucumber, beets, and so on) to have a good salad as appetizer. They also got 4 different salad dressings to choose from. Their entree was decent. The steak isn’t the best steak I ever had but it was good enough to satisfy my hunger pangs. They cooked it perfectly and it was seasoned well. The service was excellent. I forgot our server’s name but he has excellent customer service (I remember him saying he loves rice too because he’s from Colombia). My friends had dinner at this place too after we went and they had salmon and ribs and they both enjoyed their meal as well. My suggestion is to not let the negative reviews deter you from trying this place and hope you have a good experience with this restaurant just like we did.

We were initially quoted 40 mins (party of 2 on Valentine’s day, Saturday night). NBD. They gave me a buzzer and said to stay close because the range doesn’t go very far.. but we needed to go to our room as we were just checking in. Went back at the 30 min mark, and they were “closed” (even though it was 20 mins before they advertised that they close?), but the hostess remembered me and managed to squeeze us in as the last table.

It seems they seat all tables at once, even though we were the last seated, no one in the dining room had their food…. slowly food starting coming out (ours obviously last). Over half the room had finished eating and paid before we got ours. We weren’t in any rush and realized we were the last people, so also NBD.

Service was great, lots of water refills, check ins, and the staff was busy.

The food was sad. Bland, luke warm, the veggies were obviously previously frozen. Portion size was good though. Not worth the $60 (food only) bill, but we considered it a convenience fee being right in our hotel.

Grateful to have dined here given the circumstances, but we will plan to dine elsewhere for the rest of our trip.

My husband and I ordered our dinners, he ordered pasta primavera with chicken and I ordered chicken marsala. Our entrees came with vegetables and either french fries or mashed potatoes. Also a salad bar which was very minimal. But we were excited that it came with a salad bar! My entree came out first and our waiter explained that the other entree would be at least 5 minutes delayed because the kitchen made the wrong dish. My chicken marsala didn’t taste like any chicken marsala I’ve ever had. It was horrible and it tasted like there was cheese in it. Finally my husband’s dish came out and I’ve got to tell you that that alfredo sauce was worse than any sauce we’ve had Costco puts out a better chicken alfredo in the frozen section, not to be rude. We didn’t take our leftovers to our room and ask for a discount cuz it was so horrible. We only got $6 off and the bill was $80. Our waiter was great though. Then we went next door to pizza and thought we’d have better luck but didn’t want to take our chances. After spending $400 for a room we were really disappointed that these were our options
