The steak is to die for. We had the sirloin and the ribeye. They were cooked perfect, and seasoned wonderfully. The service was great. The rest of the food was complimenting towards the steaks as well. The appetizers came at a nice timely manner. I also liked they have a smoking and non smoking section which is separated by doors. Can’t wait for my next excuse to go here. Definitely the best food this side if Jefferson County.

Really love this place, haven’t been since Covid but have now had our vaccines. Was looking forward to returning back to our regular dining out. Love small chain places, and supporting our community. Food was awesome again staff is always friendly and efficient. But really a Confederate flag, that war ended a long time ago. I know I cant tell you what to hang in your bar but can tell you I’m very offended. Don’t know if we will go back and that makes me sad!!

Don’t order using a delivery service!
My wife and I after a long day decide to order. We order off Uber and after 20 or so minutes we get a call saying they don’t have what I ordered despite it being on their menu. So I ask what they do have, and they lost a few more things. I finally agree on a patty melt, not really what I wanted but whatever. Then.. turns out they don’t have that either. So I tell my wife to just not bother and cancel mine. They end up canceling our whole order saying the grill was closed. Google shows they didn’t close for another hour. If you’re going offer food for delivery or carry out make sure your menu and store hours are properly updated. It makes for a horrible experience.

Really some of the best friend chicken I’ve ever eaten. You could tell it was made fresh and not sitting under a heat lamp. Tender juicy and just a tad spicy. The service was mediocre. Not rude just cold and distant. The place was super busy. Desert was pretty good. I had the turtle cheesecake and it was very flavorful with lots of caramel and a really good cookie crust.

What happened? We brought the family here for breakfast a couple times and it was great. We were excited about the place. When we returned in mid April 2019 the service was awful, unprofessional, food items we ordered were modified by the cook based on lack of ingredients without letting us know we were getting something different than ordered, SLOW, some done eating before others had food and there were only 5 of us (3 kids). Nobody was rude, they just seemed untrained or unmanaged. We have no plans to return now which is a shame. Only positive was the pancakes still tasted good.

My family was excited when this restaurant first opened. Family style restaurant near our home. At first we loved it, good food and good service at a good price. Something has changed tho. Service is slow, portions smaller, and prices are the same. Everytime we go I hope for the best only to leave dissatisfied and disappointed. I don’t stand alone in this thought either, with friends it seems to be the same thoughts about it. All I know is at one point my family enjoyed it and know we choose other eating establishments. Go back to the way it was when you first opened and we will try it again.

My boyfriend and I stop in every couple of weeks. The food is very good. Waitress overworked but always pleasant! (Give her a raise) aside from the smoke (what can you do it is a bar after all) it’s a fantastic local place with great drinks and seems to stay pretty busy. Treat your staff and your customers right and you will forever be in High Ridge 🙂

the service was great the breakfast was horrible. Four different people got biscuits and gravy four different people didn’t eat the biscuits and gravy. They forgot potatoes for half the orders. Like I said the waitress was great she tried the food left a lot less to be desired this time

Absolutely horrible service, worst I’ve ever seen. Place is very low quality, kind of gross, and trashy. I wish I could give negative stars. We waited 45 minutes for our food, then our food was given to a another table on accident then that same food was given back to us. But had to wait another 20 minutes for one that was eaten off of. There was only one other table in the restaurant at the time. Never going ever again. Also we never got a discount off of our meal. Horrible. Left no tip. We never saw the waitress and she never apologized. And our drinks never got filled.
