Have been thinner and more plentiful. The gnocchi was okay, didn’t care for the stringent. B it probably a personal preference. Also tried the chicken sandwich was okay, very large and difficult to eat. Overall a nice date spot.
The service is fantastic. Everyone there is attentive, super pleasant, and a joy to be around. They all have an impeccable understanding of the menu, drinks, and aren’t afraid to help steer you in a direction if you need it.
The drinks are delicious – from the wine selections to cocktails – and it’s always hard to choose what to get.
And the food? ::drool:: If it’s hard to choose what drinks to order, it’s nearly impossible to pick. We have legitimately loved everything we’ve ordered over the last 3 or 4 dining experiences here.
Their outdoor patio is a must if there’s any even semi-decent weather.
Excited to come back!
It was a fabulous birthday extravagance! Summer and Julian went out of their way to make our experience memorable. The manager stopped by every table to make sure everyone was happy. We felt pampered, appreciated and very happily well fed!
This is a wonderful place to experience if you understand that great quality food takes time to prepare and serve.
To start, we were welcomed at the door and offered to check our coats when checking in. Our service was extremely professional throughout and their timing was on point. It felt like we were never left waiting for the next course.
The food was OUTSTANDING. Great presentation and flavor. I was blown away by the combination of flavors and especially the white asparagus and sunchoke soup, which was possibly the best soup I’ve ever had.
A huge thank you to the chef and all staff at 1900 for a wonderful experience.
*This being their Valentine’s dinner, I cannot speak to how similar it is to their typical dinner service, but I’m definitely confident they are great anytime!
Our two favorite dishes were the Butternut Squash Ravioli and the Gamebird Sausage Risotto. The Baked Alaska dessert is also phenomenal – the 1900 is worth a revisit for this alone.
All of the food we had was incredible! I don’t think you could order something bad on this menu. The cedar strip steak was one of the best things I’ve ever eaten. I highly recommend it. Also the Ibis grilled bread.
The menu changes regularly, so I don’t have any specific dishes to recommend. For the appetizer course I’ve had soups, salads and other options without ever making a bad choice. Likewise the pastas, entrees and desserts have been uniformly delicious.
Just three days before I wrote this review, 1900 was named as a semifinalist for a Beard Award for hospitality. They deserve the prize. Servers are polite and efficient, and they know their regular customers by name.
