We had the absolute pleasure of visiting The Reserve at Hartford for the very first time last week and what a wonderful experience it was! The décor was elegant and inviting especially with all the chandelier’s creating the most perfect atmosphere to relax and enjoy the evening with family and friends. Every single person on the team delivered top-notch service with genuine smiles and attention to detail.
It was especially great to see the new owners welcoming all the guests. The food was delicious! We ordered a bunch of appetizers because we wanted to try everything. OMG I couldn’t believe the portions very very generous. From there, I enjoyed a perfectly prepared 6.oz tenderloin with shrimp entree cooked to a perfect rare + served with vegetables. There is something on the menu for everyone.
All in all, it was a truly memorable night. I’m already looking forward to my next visit! Can’t wait to come back!!

We just had dinner tonight at The Reserve at Hartford celebrating a friend’s birthday and had a really nice experience. If you’re looking for a restaurant in Hartford WI with a wide variety of options, this is definitely one to consider.
We started by sharing a few appetizers including the Broken Burrata with heirloom bruschetta and balsamic-basil pesto, the Crispy Cauliflower with sweet chili aioli, and the housemade gnocchi. All three were great starters and a good way to sample a few things from the kitchen.
For entrées, my wife ordered the 22oz bone-in ribeye, which ended up being the standout dish of the night. If you’re looking for a great steak in Hartford WI, this one was cooked really well and full of flavor. Others at the table ordered the Gamberetto & Risotto with garlic butter shrimp and crispy artichoke hearts, the Friday fish fry, and I went with the Branzino Alla Griglia, which came with caper butter sauce, green beans, and creamy risotto.
The menu has a nice mix of steaks, seafood, pasta, and classic Wisconsin options like fish fry, so there are plenty of directions you can go depending on what you’re in the mood for.
Since it was a birthday dinner we also tried a few desserts including the Banana Foster Cheesecake, Triple Chocolate Cake, Crème Brûlée, and Raspberry Lemon Cake.
The atmosphere was cozy and comfortable even though the place was busy, and the acoustics were surprisingly good — you could actually have a conversation at the table without it feeling loud.
Service was excellent. Friendly, knowledgeable about the menu, and everything came out hot and right on time.
Overall a very good meal and definitely a place we’d come back to try more of the menu.

Absolutely amazing place and food! It was our first time visiting and we will be back. My boyfriend got the New York Strip and I got the 8oz filet, both cooked to perfection with a blue cheese crumble on top. The mashed potatoes and Brussel sprouts were great. Definitely recommend to anyone in the area looking for a date night or even just a Sunday dinner. We are looking forward to returning!

Amazing dinner with freshly made pasta. I had shrimp alfredo while partner had chicken parm and we shared a appetizer which was the fried risotto balls with a marinara (the marinara really set it off)
He also had the clam chowder and I had the house salad. The calm chowder was perfectly balanced.
The salad was as you expect, very fresh, with a housemate dressing.
I thought you got a relish tray and bread basket with dinner which would have paired well but we did not recieve. Unknown if was due to Friday or due to just opening and forgot it or dropped from serving. Had seen others post it and did have butter on table.

We went to The Reserve with two other couples on opening night. This is now an Italian restaurant. My husband and I ordered lasagna. The lasagna was absolutely delicious. The other couple’s had other Italian dishes and raved about how delicious their meals were too. Our waitress was fantastic. Very friendly and sweet. The owner came to our table twice to talk and see how we liked our dinners. Delicious food, fantastic service and a wonderful atmosphere. We will definitely be back. Make a reservation today!!!

Tried out the new place opening week. The Food and service were amazing. For dinner we tried the ribs (spectacular fall off the bone tender) and the Salmon dinner (made perfectly)

The specialty drinks were also good, but could be absolutely great. Mostly I think it’s due to it being a new place with the staff trying to get everything pinned down/fully trained. The Amaro Old Fashioned and the Blood Orange Drop were definitely standouts, but not quite perfected. I think in the coming weeks they should have everything streamlined and more consistent!

The fish fries were amazing last evening. Had the tempura cauliflower with dipping sauce to start – delicious and not overly battered or greasy! Will definitely get again.
I ordered the baked fish – requested a Cajun seasoning-so good! Others had the breaded cod or perch -loved it! The Yukon gold mashed potatoes with skins were authentic and delicious. Potato pancakes were also good. Creamy coleslaw was flavored perfectly. Definitely will be back to try other dinners.

Would like to see the entry way updated as rather old from MJ’s.

FABulous staff, atmosphere, food & beverage. Hope it continues. Slightly pricey but worth it. Creamy Spinach/Gnocchi Soup was excellent! Appetizer of Art Stix…cheesey spinach & artichokes deep fried in a wonton, yum! Main entrees were excellent. Top notch servers! Smiling & welcoming. We’ll be back!!

Our waitress was great. She was very pleasant and appreciative of our visit. I don’t mind paying for a good meal but the food definitely wasn’t worth what we paid. My steak was picture perfect but that’s where it ended. No flavor whatsoever. The baked potatoes tasted and appeared to have been “baked” days ago. The salmon with risotto was bland and at best “ok”.

The atmosphere was good and we loved the music. Probably won’t go back.
