The venue itself is stunning, and the upstairs bridal suite was perfect for our large wedding party. About 15 of us comfortably got ready there the morning of the wedding, and it set the tone for a relaxed, fun start to the day. Our ceremony on the large lawn was beautiful, with such a picturesque backdrop for our vows. For the reception, we tented the outdoor patio as our dance floor, which kept the energy flowing all night, while the fire pit gave guests a cozy spot to enjoy the music without being in the middle of it.
Dietary needs were handled with so much care. We worked with both the chef and the event coordinator, Kristina, to create delicious vegan options and thoughtful accommodations for guests with more severe allergies. The bartenders were fantastic, keeping the line moving quickly all night and every cocktail was spot on. Our guests were so impressed, and we felt completely confident that everyone was taken care of. No one left hungry!
On the night of the wedding, the event staff was incredible. The space stayed spotless, stations were always full, and the service never skipped a beat. Kristina went above and beyond during planning too, helping us design a unique floor plan, rearranging the restaurant to fit our stations and décor, and even transforming the general store into a candy bar and bakery counter.
We can’t recommend The Roadhouse enough for any private event. Beautiful, flexible, and supported by an amazing team, it was the perfect place to celebrate our wedding and create memories we’ll cherish forever.
I will plan our next event at the Roadhouse!
Thank you to all who helped !
Food:
– We ordered wings, but I completely forgot to snap a photo. They were DELISH. We got the ranch dry rub and the Gold Rush wings. Would recommend either! So yummy.
– Ordered the Asian chicken salad. The chicken was cooked perfectly. So moist and not overdone. The salad had enough dressing for flavor and wasn’t soggy. Fresh. Light. Delicious.
– My boyfriend got the Alfredo. Fair warning – it’s got some heat. It’s not spicy per say, but the pepper flavor is vibrant and unforgettable. This is not for the weak stomach and is definitely not the cheesy, light alfredo that would be expected. Still very delicious!
Drinks:
– I ordered the ship wrecked (pictured). YUM. If you are a rum drinker, definitely recommend. It made me reminisce of a tropical vacation.
– My boyfriend got a mango sour from Space Cat Brewery. Redding Roadhouse is always known for having a great variety of beers and sours!
The only thing that I could say could be better is the service. The serving staff is definitely young and could benefit from some training. We ordered wings and were not brought plates, napkins, or silverware. We also had to ask for water and in summer water should be essential.
We will definitely be back! It’s delicious and such a great place. Definitely a hidden gem. ☺️
The beers were good. Fries good and a good burger.
After a long ride, the spot was just perfect.
We went in the hopes of sitting by the fire, after a cold snowy day, but were told that there was a “fireplace reservation”, within the hour, and we weren’t allowed to sit there. 5 minutes into being seated elsewhere, a different group decided to take the fireside table. Even after we mentioned something to the hostess, they didn’t make it right. Not worth the trip!
