Titi is amazing, best service I’ve had in Minneapolis! The food here is great. The portion sizes are reasonable for the price. I’d normally say that’s all a restaurant needs but the hostess was amazing and had great food recommendations. I told her what I like and she recommended an amazing meal. I don’t think you can go wrong with any dish here and if you’re in question, ask your server what they recommend. I ate the food so fast that I forgot to take a picture. Great place and close to the college.

This restaurant is absolutely incredible. They have delicious food, reasonable prices, and lovely waitstaff. My favorite aspect by far, however, is their attached music venue. They host a ton of local artists and fantastic events, and allow a lot of freedom for decorating and customizing the space. You can even order a roll sampler and have it on the dance floor!!!

During a recent trip to Minneapolis, I went there for dinner on a Sunday evening in July. They are located close to a train station, which made it easy for me to go there. I was greeted warmly. I ordered a chicken dish, injeera, and spinach—they were glad to accommodate my request–the menu does not include spinach. The food came pretty quickly, was warm, very tasty, and plentiful. And the food was relatively cheap. I would gladly go there again.

As much as I thought they had economical options, their food was overall sloppily made and didn’t contain enough flavor. I believe they toned down the seasoning a bit to potentially serve people that couldn’t handle spice, which resulted in their food overall on the plain side relatively. There are still some highlights worth pointing out, though, which I will try to do.
I thought the ater kik and the shiro were overall well made, and one bite with a chunk of injera offered a traditionally tasty experience. Miser was okay, and could use more seasoning in my opinion. The doro wot also didn’t have enough spice, and the chicken didn’t necessarily have an “off the bone” quality like I would have loved. The lantil alicha was pretty good because lentils, which wouldn’t normally be considered tasty, were pretty tasty. Both the yabesha gomen (kale) and tikel gomen (cabbage) were unfortunately bland as well in comparison.
Spending just around $13 for a veggie firfir, which was a veggie sampler for one person, was a good deal, though. I think those who are around the Cedar area can still have a good time here.

The food was really great and we can’t wait to go back. Our group of 4 was fairly new to Ethiopian food and our server Titi was so lovely, she walked our group through several options, and we ended up with a really good selection of dishes. There was a nice mix of spicy and mild dishes and the Injera bread was great. The vibes in the restaurant were casual and homey.

Wow – every single thing about this meal was fantastic. From a simple latte to the chicken curry and the veggie sampler, each was better than the last and I only wish my stomach were bigger so I could have kept eating!! Plus, server Titi was so kind and helpful as well. 11/10 – I can’t wait to go back!!

First time in, wanted to try something new—I’m not exaggerating when I say this is the best meal I’ve had in a long time. Dined in with my bestie, started with the best cup of coffee ever (similar to a whole milk latte, but richer), we split the veggie sambusa, she got the chicken curry with rice and I got the veggie sampler. Every single bite was HEAVEN, and our server Titi was so lovely! Can’t wait to visit again!!

Holy SMOKES is this place good!! Titi (our server and I think one of the owners?) was so kind and generous in walking through the menu. We got a combination plate with the spicy beef, lamb, four types of vegetables. Honestly impossible to pick a favorite. Can’t wait to come back.
