The Red Pine Cone is a North Country American restaurant with an old-time dinette feel. Great for families, campers, and those passing through to the Adirondacks – The Red Pine Cone has great ice cream, sandwiches, burgers, and, of course, famous homemade pizza! There is wonderful outdoor seating and lawn games, as well as beautiful indoor seating, complete with a mural of the renowned local reservoirs! Dine in or take out! Reservations are appreciated!

New restaurant in town!!!!!
I went with my family on their first night opened. We were seated immediately, and opted to sit inside (but they do have outdoor seating!). Inside the place is beautiful, with a stunning mural and cute lighting.
The menu has a wide range of options, including a kids menu. I opted for their maple pizza, husband had a burger and kid had chicken tenders. The pizza was really good, with a thin crispy crust. Husband couldn’t stop talking about the fries! And my 3 year old loved the chicken!
They do not serve alcohol.
BUT, they do have ice cream!!!! <<<<<<
I am rating 4 stars for two reasons. Our server was not very friendly or attentive to our drinks. It also took quite a while to get our food. I know these things will change once they get all the kinks figured out.
We will absolutely be back!

Came here for dinner early on a Friday evening. It’s in a lovely area but was a bit too chilly to take advantage of the outdoor seating. Initially it waited was attentive but seen to get caught up in serving folks coming in to their ice cream counter and was distinctly less attentive. The buffalo cauliflower was delish. I got a chicken bacon ranch wrap. It was very heavy on the bacon and the fried chicken was cold. It was tasty, none the less. My husband ordered the NOCO Garbage plate which has a tasty assortment of their food offerings- Mac and cheese, pulled pork, tater tots, etc. Overall, not a bad place for a casual meal.

Called in a takeout order, was told it would be 1.5hrs until ready. I showered up only to be told the order hadn’t even been started and they would start it immediately and it would be another half hour. Arrived a generous 40 minutes later only to be told it would be a few more minutes. Paid (with a discount) only to wait another 40 minutes. Apparently my order was still not started and was not told that before paying. Called initially at 5:55 finally got food at 8:35. They close at 8. Food was good, but time management and priorities are bad.

One of my favorite spots while I lived in Potsdam! The pizza, wings, and fries are always delicious and hit the spot every time. They also serve ice cream, which is a nice bonus after a good meal. Great food, friendly service — highly recommend!

It took us 3 hours to get our food! We only had 5 things. Went to pick the order up was told still not cooked, went back again still wasn’t ready was told dinning room comes first( there were only two tables) but It won’t b much longer. We still waited atleast 1/2 -45 min. I don’t think they ever intended to cook our food ! All over bad experience won’t be going back ! when we finally got our food that they just supposed cooked it was not very warm and the order I got for myself was wrong ! Ordered at 5:55pm finally got it 8:40pm

This is a cute place. The staff was exceptionally friendly and helpful. My kids wanted ice cream cones with lots of toppings and although the toppings wouldn’t stick, they put them in a cup and my kids dipped their cones as they ate them. The ice cream was delicious and everyone had a good time.
