True Italian food. Our experience was fantastic. The staff there knows their stuff, and can recommend you items if you are not sure what you want.
Comes with complimentary bread and oil, as well as a salad with each meal. Atmosphere is good as well. It feels like a true Italian place. Glad we came here. We got tired of eating fast food Italian.
They suggest wine depending on the type of meal you get that would compliment it, and if you are a wine drinker I suggest you give it a try.

I love The Red Pepper! It has been among the best restaurants in Summerville since it opened and still is even now with so many more places than there was then. I am never disappointed with the atmosphere, the service, the staff. The food is always amazing. I have been many times, and I will be back again.

First off the place is beautiful inside and out it’s got a nice home field to it it smells fantastic inside. The waiters are very attentive the staff is very friendly. The food tastes like everything is made from scratch. The menu was full of different Italian dishes from drinks appetizers main course pastas chicken beef Seafood whatever variety you’re looking for they have it it’s a huge menu. The prices may be steep for some but I promise you it’s worth every penny. There’s a lot of love put into their cooking and they really go the extra mile to make sure you got what you wanted and more. Definitely trying Italian soda the nice sweet treat, will definitely be returning in the future. If you’re looking for something Italian high quality made with lots of love and passion from the chefs this is the place to go

My husband and I celebrated our 20th Wedding Anniversary tonight at The Red Snapper. Our experience was outstanding! Our server was very friendly, informative , attentive ,and she treated us with the upmost respect. Our food was delicious and we didn’t have to wait long for it to be brought to our table.

The kiddos are working, it’s date night for us so my wife & I decided to try this Italian restaurant in Summerville called The Red Pepper just because like I said before we love trying new local places. We got to this little house made into a restaurant with one way in & out parking so be careful when you go, BUT & IT’S A BIG “BUT”!!!! YOU’VE GOT TO TRY IT !!!!! OH HOLY NIGHT IT’S DELICIOUS !!!! we started off with Mozzarella en Carrozza & Bruschetta alla Red Pepper for apps with salads in between my wife had the Parmigiana di Pollo & I had the Ravioli alla Zucca con Salsa di Arancia Mascarpone for dinner….the Zucca I had was more like a dessert than an entrée, but both were amazing (yes my wife let me try hers..mine was better )….WOW!!!! with Limoncello Mascarpone Cake for dessert. This place is tiny with a BIG ITALIAN PUNCH to the taste buds so GO!!!! don’t be scared because it look tiny they have a bar & plenty of area for dinning…..I was told to definitely make reservations on the weekend….The entire staff was friendly & the food is OMG DELICIOUS we’ll definitely be going back.

Our 1st Time her and it did not disappoint! Kirsten was our waitress and let me just say she was absolutely amazing. Very sweet and knowledgeable about the menu. She was very patient with our questions. And she has a smile that can make anyone’s day.
Now the food.
My husband got chicken Parm and they substituted the red sauce for Alfredo sauce bc he was worried about heartburn. They did it without any problem. He said it was delicious.
Kirsten also let us know that the chef takes most all the acid out of the red sauce to try and avoid heartburn. So that we know for next time.
My 3 year old got Alfredo and she ate it with no problem. We usually have a time getting her to eat.
My son got a large meat lovers pizza we didn’t know how big it would actually be lol it was huge and it was very good.
I got the shrimp and scallop pasta and I cleaned the plate I always take leftovers when we go out to dinner. It was the best I’ve ever had I believe. The scallops were so good.
We ordered dessert the dolci special and a slice of monster cheesecake. OMG!! That cheese cake! It’s better then anything I’ve ever had. Cheesecake factory has nothing on this lol.
