We were looking for a special place to celebrate a birthday and online reviews had said The Red Maple was good so we made a reservation.
Service overall was not good. Literally the day before we got a message saying that the restaurant only had two seating options available as there were other tables or we could cancel; given the late notice we chose the wine rooms. While private, it was also secluded so if we needed anything we would have to go and get the staff since there were infrequent checkups.
To add insult to injury, the food was not that great. We had the spinach casserole to start followed by the catfish, shrimp and hamburger. while portion size was decent, flavor and taste quality were lacking.

Phenomenal all around! Servers were fantastic, attentive, and very personable. The spinach casserole appetizer was a great start. Our 4 year old loved the kid’s Catfish and fries. My wife had the Catfish Pecan and I had the Fig Glazed Roasted Duck, both paired with Sweet Potato Souffle. 10/10 for everything we ate and really a place to return to on future nights out!

The steak was like butta and was seasoned so perfectly. One of the best steaks I’ve ever had, hands down. I loved the baked potato as well.

We were going to another restaurant down the block, but they didn’t have parking, which the Red Maple does have across the street. It was an amazing find. The restaurant itself is quite unique as it is what appears to be a large converted residence. It is beautiful and comfortable inside. There are several dining areas and a dimly lit swanky bar area. They take walk-ins and reservations. There is no dress policy, but the clientele does dress nicely. Our server Maria was wonderful! The food was very good. This was a wonderful find for us. If you’re in the neighborhood or surrounding area, go get yourself a wonderful and relaxing meal.

Went to Red Maple for my anniversary and had a wonderful experience dining there. The food was delicious and they brought it hot. The steak was very well seasoned and juicy. The Mahi Mahi had great flavor and the sides were good too. The onions rings was hot and fresh and it was a big portion for appetizer. The restaurant had a nice ambience and it was very clean. Had good service, very attentive. Had a great time. I would definitely come to this restaurant again.

I’ve been enjoying lunch and dinner here for years, and the food, service, and ambiance are never lacking. I’ve hosted business dinners multiple times, and even once a lunch for ~30. Their steak night special is an incredible deal, plan your schedule around it if you can!

Made reservation, on a Saturday evening, for my birthday. Did not make mention of the occasion as I was not sure about how this particular restaurant handled birthdays.
First off, wonderful atmosphere, very welcoming, a little different kind of layout, but warm and inviting.
Secondly, the hostess was wonderful and welcoming, noticed while we were dining that she did a lot more than just seat patrons, she was helping to bus and reset tables also. Runners were awesome and very attentive and helpful.
Overall a nice experience so far.
Server seemed off. Maybe we were her only table in that section, I am not sure, but there is a separate “upstairs” lounge area. Saw her a total of six times in just over 90 minutes. Took drink order, took app order, came back to check and I sent my wilted (like dregs from two or three different pans) asparagus back (which was comped), to drop the check, and then to check on the check, and then to bring the receipt and card back with a bag for the to go box.
Runner brought the food, runner brought drinks, runner brought refills when asked, runner brought more bread, runner got us a to go box.
Maybe sit in the upstairs or lounge next time, if we go back. We were recommended this place because a lot of his coworkers like this restaurant.
