We start out by using only 100% halal certificated chicken tenders and marinating them in our world-famous Red’s Chicken Rub. After that, our chicken gets a bath in our homemade breading and then hits the fryers for a swim in our all-natural oil. A final dusting of Red’s secret “Red Rub” is applied and these bomb fire eats are ready to serve. Each sandwich or tenders basket is always made to order – fresh, fast, and outrageously delicious. Guests can choose between six unique spice levels ranging from Mild to FKU CRA! Yes, it’s that crazy. Our sandwiches come on a 3” potato rolls and are served as twins. The standard build includes bun, chicken, pickle, and house-made cilantro slaw topped with Red’s Famous Big Bird Sauce.

I ordered the Chicken Cheese Fries—hot chicken over fries with cheese, pickles, and Red’s Famous Big Bird Sauce. I will admit, I was a little nervous because loaded fries can sometimes be way too saucy, but this one had the perfect balance. I went with mild heat, but next time, I’m definitely bumping it up to medium or hot.
Hubby ordered the chicken sandwich with fries, and went bold with the hot heat level. Surprisingly, he spice wasn’t overpowering at all—you could still clearly taste all the ingredients, which I really appreciated. The slaw in the sandwich deserves a special shoutout—so fresh and crunchy that we ended up ordering an extra side because it complemented everything perfectly.
Toffee Cake was warm, moist, and just the right amount of sweetness to cool down all the spicy chicken we had. The perfect finish.
But honestly, the best part of the experience was Mo. From the moment we walked in, he was incredibly kind and welcoming. He didn’t just check in on us—he took the time to explain the menu and ingredients, recommend the right heat levels for each item, bringing us special hot sauce to try, and made sure we were comfortable. Hands down one of the best experiences I’ve had at a fast-casual restaurant.

I love a good chicken sandwich and this one is halal so I was extra excited to try this place! Red bird is located in the shopping between a nail salon and hair salon. There are 6 tables, each seating four guests. The cashier was very polite, assisting me with my choices and helping me understand heat levels. The chicken sandwich is on a yummy bun (potato bun?) dressed with a crunchy veggie slaw which is really good. It’s not as spicy as Hangry Joe’s (where you have to sign a waiver to order the hottest level) so feel free to lean into the spice!

This is my favorite place to get lunch in the area I work. Hands-down, best hot chicken in the area, super affordable, and great service. These are not just regular chicken tenders sprinkled with seasoning after they’re cooked like you get at Hangry Joe’s. The chicken is super flavorful, large pieces, and these are the only crinkle fries I actually enjoy (they’re crisp, not soggy, and seasoned well). Mo is the man, and runs a great restaurant. The sauces are legit, and I just tried the toffee cake for the first time today, it’s the bomb. Don’t think about it, just go, you won’t regret it

I was thoroughly pleased with Red Bird . The food was above ⬆️ average, not exceptional, but definitely decent. I got the extra spicy ️ sandwich and it was certainly spicy but nothing I couldn’t handle. What really stood out to me at this establishment was the portion size and quantity per dollar. In this day and age, there’s almost nothing like it!! It was ABSOLUTELY PHENOMENAL value!!! I got two large sliders and a side of fries for only like $13. That was crazy . I also got a bunch of sauces on the side, and those enhanced the taste even more. If you’re talking about value for your chicken sandwich, this is 100% one of the best in the business!!

Red Bird Hot Chicken knows what they’re doing! The chicken sandwiches and nuggets were unreal—tender, juicy, basically melted like butter. Seasoning? On point. We tried different heat levels, and honestly, none were crazy spicy, so go wild and flex like you’re braver than you really are. The sauces were the real MVPs—especially the chicken sauce and that yellow sauce. 10/10 would happily risk my dignity by licking my fingers in public again.

Of course, my non English-speaking date managed to pick out the most expensive thing on the menu. It was my first time here and the staff greeted me well. The chicken sandwich was amazing. I tried every sauce they had. I got the extra hot level and it was not too spicy. It gave it just the right amount of flavor and balance. I would definitely come back here if I’m ever around the area again or just want it! Deliciously tender, tasty & affordable.

I thought the chicken craze was over, but this place perfected it. I have gone back twice now in one week because I was so amazed. Not only are their prices super good, but their portion sizes are phenomenal! You are actually getting a freshly made, full-sized, chicken breast sandwich. Their menu is simple and to the point. They have a few options, and they do them well. I was blown away by the chicken. Every bite was meat, and the breading was perfect. Not too thick, not too light. And the chicken itself was cooked perfectly. I had to slow down because the meat was so juicy that I was burning my tongue, trying to eat it too fast. The food doesn’t come out the fastest, but the wait is definitely worth it. They also have a good mix of spice tiers. Personally, I like some kick, and I found that the medium was about my limit. There are no awards for spice bravery, I imagine for a lot of people, the mild or original may be best. The only downside to this place is the location is very narrow. I would recommend taking the food to go, but they do have about 10 or so tables that can fit 4-6 people at each. The best part is their 2 sandwhich deal for roughly 10 bucks. Fries included. This place is awesome and I will definitely be back again soon!
