A diamond in the rough, the Red Baron is located in a small airport that has a few older buildings from its air base days. The restaurant had a great exterior, a nice interior decor, delightful food and superior service. It is a few miles outside of the town of Dalhart TX, but well worth the trip. I’m told that it fills up after church on Sunday.

Food was really good. The “Cowboy Potatoes” were amazing. The sausage is really good. Chicken fry was okay. The pancakes were really good. We lived being able to see the planes come in while eating too. DO RECOMMEND. We be back when coming through again.

The server was super sweet and very polite. one of the tex mex meals. For me, it was the right amount of spicy and flavorful. The country style potatoes were great.

You must come here. Top 2 burger, especially when compared against typical airport fare. Excellent service, cooked to perfection. 1/2 fries, 1/2 rings for the win!

Stopped by on a road trip. This place is in the middle of nowhere! It was a cool ride and we were able to see a private plane pull in for fuel while we had breakfast. The menu is VERY LIMITED but the omelette was delicious.

Waited over an hour. Probably close to an hour and a half for two orders of wings and some eggs. They drowned the wings in sauce, otherwise great location. Love watching the planes land and take off

They totally played us. We ordered a southwest salad and received a Ceasars salad instead and acted dumb whenever we mentioned it.They heavily overcharged us and tried to lie about it straight to our faces. The disrespect and obvious avoiding behaviors was wild to see. The cashier told me she was charging me 17 and then charged me 30 but didn’t say anything until I mentioned it ? So I asked for a refund and she only refunded me half?? Don’t go, they are rude liars.
