The Reckless Roadhouse is the local favorite BBQ restaurant and bar that also caters to the weary travelers passing through our Western slopes. Our custom built smoker is always burning, providing our guests with a full American BBQ menu and daily rotating feature items. It doesn’t matter if you’re not here for a long time, just come in for a good time!

I come here with my boyfriend often for wing Wednesday and they are so tasty. Each week brings a new flavor. Last week they had peach bourbon wings and they were soo yummy. Couldn’t recommend this place more. The food is great, the service is great (we love Rae!!!) & the margaritas are heavenly + they are dog friendly!!

I’ve been there twice now, the first time was late, close to closing and I had a sandwich to remember! A cheese steak that was one of the best things I’ve ever had. The second time, I brought my work crew to eat with me- I had found a place to not miss. The bartender/ waitress girl was wonderful but the food was not worth it. The portions of meat in the sandwiches and pasta were so small. Not at all worth the prices charged. Mixed drinks were tasty but the food needed to be better.

Truly amazing food (best kept secret in a hole in the wall type good!) Our server, Robert, was on point and super friendly! We ordered tacos, a taco salad, buffalo wings, and their Brisket Reuben! Not a thing I would change about any of it! Soooo good! Their down home twist to everything truly made every dish divine! We live 3 hours away, but thinking I may become a regular for date night lol Beers were cold and refreshing, atmosphere was awesome- lots of cool things to gander at! Be warned Reckless, we will be back! You’ve won our hearts (mostly thru our stomachs )

Delicious stop on our road trip! Brisket was my favorite, but everything was great tacos, chicken, pork, and Mexican lager (and happy hour prices)!

I highly recommend a stop at this family-owned bar and restaurant, which has been open for about nine months! The chef and co-owner used to be a chef in Denver! The peach wood smoked pork brisket nachos (no picture here, because they disappeared fast) and the smoked chicken caesar salad were perfect lunch time options. Driving through the area? Skip the fast food establishments along 70, and enjoy this small-town, old-school spot instead. They have plans to expand and they are super friendly! I look forward to visiting again soon!

Great food, great service, and nice live music. The food is high quality, thoughtfully prepared, the pulled pork Sammie was perfect with amazing BBQ sauce, the green apples, the slaw, and incredible challah bun. Everything was good and I’m thankful we found this place on our trip. My wife enjoyed the veggie tacos, the kids had grilled cheese and the cheese is so good, and the other two kids had the pork and chicken, all of it was amazing and we all left happy and thankful to find such a gem on our journey. Definitely will be back during our next adventure in this area.

One of those hidden gems in a small town of no more than 500 people, the Philly sandwich and beef soup were spectacular, but what my wife and I liked the most was the attention of the girl who was working at the time, Rae, a very attentive young woman, with a super cool energy, believe me when I tell you that the food at that place is on another level. We will return soon to the live music nights.

If you’re driving between parachute in Grand Junction Colorado you’ve got to stop in at the reckless roadhouse. Be sure to order their meat plate. Split it with A loved one. Three meats tender as can be, you need coleslaw, potato salad etc. my wife is a margarita lover and now claims that they make the best margaritas she’s ever had. I don’t drink them that much but it sure was good. Don’t miss happy hour 4 to 6 daily. If you get lucky you’ll see the Most astounding rainbows ever saw. A double rainbow clearly from one into the other, bright and intense like you could walk up to either in and collect your pot of gold. Beautiful. Owner and his dad are very friendly. Came twice during this trip, will be back for more.

Had a great time at the Reckless Roadhouse. Started with their wing special – salt & vinegar aoili. Just delicious. My husband got the pulled pork sammie and it was just wonderful. The flavors all balanced so nicely. I got the Buffalo chicken mac’n’cheese. I will be dreaming about that entree for a long time. We had non-alcoholic Busch for drinks. The cocktail list looked lovely, but wasn’t for us during lunchtime. Our server was very attentive and knowledgeable. We will definitely be back.

Fantastic BBQ! The wings of the week featured palisade peaches, same with the peach margarita! Hands down the best chicken wings I’ve had, they just fall off the bone. That margarita was peach perfection. And that brisket!! Oh my! The pork and chicken have a nice smokiness from some cumin in the rub. They smoke all of the meat using wood from the peach trees too! All of the food, pickle included, is made in house (except the dinner roll). Super friendly staff and they really take advantage of the local products available! This is a superb pitstop if you are headed out this way.
