Fantastic place and Phoebe was brilliant. Attentive without being pushy but laid back without feeling ignored. A refreshing and professional service.
Menu was good with good choices . My steak was cooked to perfection and precut with superb presentation. Deserts were really nice too. Great wine list. It was my birthday and they brought out a plate with sparkler which was nice touch. Would definately go again and its dog friendly too.

We went for our 5 Year Anniversary meal and it was absolutely breathtaking. The food was so delicious and delicate, it felt like I was in a Michelin star worthy place! The servers were more than accomodating to our allergy requirements and even came out with a small little dessert for us both to celebrate with us.
Highly recommend the Chilli Prawn Capellini and the Saffron and Banana Bread with Toffee Sauce and Honeycomb Ice Cream.

Recently taken over and given a revamp. really lovely modern decor and warm, inviting atmosphere, with service to match.
We had a Sunday roast which was one of the best we’ve had in Norfolk and chocolate brownie Sunday worth eating even if you are full !!

Stopped off at the restaurant on impulse and glad we did. They were short staffed on the day but the service from Lydia was exceptional. She was knowledgeable on the menu and very friendly. We had the three course set menu and the food was really good quality and priced very well. Will certainly visit this place again.

We’ve been coming here regularly and it never disappoints. The food is always delicious, with a great variety to choose from. There’s plenty of space and different areas to suit whatever vibe you’re after, whether it’s a casual meal or something a bit more special. The staff are always friendly and helpful. Todays photos of lamb, pan-fried salmon and sticky toffee pudding.

Went for lunch today 12.45 was very quiet only me and my dad in there. The waitress/bartender was very friendly and welcoming. The lunch menu was small but amazing price 2 courses £20 or 3 courses £24. The food was delicious we chose pulled beef on toast and prawns for starter, main pork belly and fish and chips for desert we had brownie sundae it was all perfect !!! Would highly recommended The Ratcatcher. Little hidden gem.

Amazing meal here a few weeks ago, service was brilliant and the best steak we have ever had! All members of staff were so knowledgeable on gluten free, which as a coeliac is so reassuring. Simply amazing, we haven’t stopped thinking about it since. Will 100% be back!

Absolutely amazing and fantastic value to boot! We were driving though Norfolk on a long journey, we’re looking for a quick bite to eat. We saw their burnt wood sign on the main road and decided to swing in for a quick meal and we were blown away by how great this place is, it’s slightly off the beaten track but worth the detour.
The entire restaurant is beautifully designed and very well kept with a warm and welcoming atmosphere.
The staff were really friendly and up for a chat without being pushy at all, the food was great, fantastic flavours, perfectly cooked and well seasoned. We had the beef on toast and the squid to start which was all great with Asian inspired flavours then the chicken and the squash and mushroom wellington for mains all cooked to perfection and full of flavour!
To make it even better the prices are extremely reasonable! We are so glad we went and will definitely visit again when in the area
