I left a great review about six years ago and have been a regular here ever since. I could have come back to complain, and I’m sure they would have remade it, but I shouldn’t have to. If prices need to go up a dollar, so be it, but a cream cheese bagel should actually have cream cheese on it. Even if you’re making hundreds of sandwiches a day, attention to the basics still matters. It also wasn’t busy when I stopped in later in the day, so there really wasn’t an excuse.

I moved from Brooklyn to Bayonne and asked for the best bagels in the area. The guy over at Maaco told me about this joint. Bro, great bagels good neighborhood service and sweet home grown ladies that serve you. Service is fast and with a smile and joke usually matched with a “good by sweety!!”, when leaving. I’ve had very good bagels and these are definitely on that scale of very good.

This should be anyones GO-TO bagel/breakfast spot. They are by far the BEST in the northern Jersey area. I say this as someone who lived and currently works in NYC. The staff, the food, the portions, the efficiency, and the precision are on point each and every time. My order always comes out to perfection! The fact that woman at the register is the sweetest most welcoming soul is just an added plus. If you’re on the run or just need a simple breakfast with the fam, go here!

Pretty good bagel! At 11:30 on a Sunday they ran out of pretty much every bagel besides plain and everything, they also had no veggie cream cheese.
I was impressed by the options they had for vegan cream cheese spreads.
It’s a cute little place, a lot of people there for pick up orders. All the staff were friendly and the line to order moved quick. We ended up sitting along the wall, there are a couple of stools there.
I split an everything bagel with scallion cream cheese with my husband. $5. The cream cheese was soft, creamy and had just the right amount of scallions on it. It was also just the right proportion of cream cheese to bagel ratio. The bagel itself was good but nothing amazing, I wish it was a little more doughy and chewy than it was. It was also a bit bland.
I would def come back and try some of their other cream cheeses like strawberry or blueberry to even an egg and cheese sandwich.

I went to the store this morning to buy muffins and chips, and when I got home, they were dry and stale. Unfortunately, I didn’t have time to return them because my son had to go to school. I went back to the store and explained the situation. It was the first time I’ve ever complained about their products. They offered me another pair, but I refused. There were three employees, but only one paid attention to me; the others ignored me. I told them I pay more than anywhere else and that they should care about their customers and provide fresh products. Next time, I will make sure the products are fresh. I recommend checking the products before leaving the store.
