The Ranch by Royal Family Farming is an absolute gem in Vantage! From the moment you arrive, you can tell this place is special. The atmosphere is welcoming, the service is friendly, and the food is on another level. Everything tastes incredibly fresh because many of the ingredients come straight from their own local farm, which makes the whole experience feel truly farm-to-table.
The burgers are easily some of the best I’ve had—juicy, perfectly cooked, and packed with flavor. The tallow fries are crispy and delicious, and you can really taste the quality in every bite. Pair it with one of their shakes and you’ve got the perfect meal.
What really makes this place stand out is the quality and care they put into their food. It’s not just a quick burger stop—it’s a place where you can enjoy amazing local food while taking in the beautiful Columbia River surroundings.

This place is awesome! A friend recommended I try the ranch next time I pass through the area. It did not disappoint! Excellent burger, excellent fries, everything was delicious and fresh. Daniel was THE MAN, he took care of me and was beyond polite and attentive. I told him it was my first time there and he impressed.
They also sell cuts meat, local honey and produce, all really nice stuff.
Atmosphere is really cool, they even have a live beehive inside the restaurant where you can see the bees through plexiglass panels. Very cool!
Will absolutely be coming again and recommending this place to friends and family

Wow! I might have dreams about this place. It will definitely be a MUST stop location everything I travel through Vantage. This is a destination burger shop, great quality, super service and remarkable prices. The fries and shakes are just top quality – simple ingredients done right. If I could rate it 6 stars, I would…plus, you have the meat counter which requires another review – epic!

We drove around 90 minutes to try the food…a couple different referrals said it was great. The good: the view looking over the Columbia River is wonderful. The burger was a very good burger…flavorful and fresh. The smash burger patties are my favorite kind. The drinks were good.. I had the dragon fruit tractor juice and she got a strawberry shake. The not good: the beef tallow french fries were fairly cold and not good. Which is weird because they were pretty busy- you’d think everything would be hot and fresh. The steak, which they claimed was ribeye had zero marbling and was overcooked. We asked for medium rare…we got something closer to medium well. Flavor was okay, not among the best. It was $55 and change. Maybe we’ll try it again someday if we’re already in that general area…but I don’t plan to make a special trip.

great place to stop for a break on a road trip! great burgers and shakes, the fries can be hit or miss. solid flavor, but the crispiness isn’t consistent. it’s the goldilocks experience. first time we stopped in, they were super soggy lol. the second time, perfect fried! the third, some of them were crispy? but some of them weren’t. so weird. service is generally fairly quick considering how busy they usually are whenever we’re there but the milkshakes are guaranteed to come at least a couple minutes after you get everything else and there’s always some confusion surrounding them. i wish they’d just write the order number they give you + the initial for the flavor on the cups associated with your order. i feel like that would solve soooo many problems. also maybe fry in smaller batches

Not often can you find a quality burger and fries for under $15.
Even fast food has gotten expensive! I spent $18 at jack in the box last month for an ultimate cheeseburger meal. Do I regret it? No! But wow.
Anyhow, if your going east or west on I90. Stop on by The Ranch in Vantage, WA. Cute little shop with views! And you can get a nice smash burger and fries for $11. I added a farm fresh fried egg for another $1. Worth it. The brioche bun is perfection. The smashed patty was crispy on the edges and seasoned well. I would have preferred more sauce or spicy pickles to make everything pop in flavor but overall a solid burger for the price! The beef tallow fries were okay, could use some salt but they did have dipping sauces to enjoy.
The grilled cheese – was legit. Brioche bun, .melted cheese in the inside and cripsy grilled cheese on the outside! Genius, giving it extra flavor and texture. All for $3!!!
I wouldn’t make a special trip just for this place but if passing by they definitely worth a visit!

Omg this is probably the best burger, fries, and shake that I’ve ever had! Prices were so amazing and affordable for the quality of food to get. I didn’t get it but the apple cider they sold here looks yum as well. If you are driving by vantage it’s a must stop place in my opinion

This was our 3rd time here. Every time the burgers milk shakes were great! On our first visit the fries were old and soggy. We almost didn’t come back but my wife talked me into it. We ended up getting some fresh cooked fries and they were amazing!
So today we ordered a couple double combos and the fries were even soggier. So I went back to see how much they were frying at a time. They maybe were working on a couple orders but had enough fries to fill 20 orders. This is way too much and will lead to poor quality fries for customers or wasted food! The gal that was on shake duty shouldn’t be twirling her hair with gloves and making customers shakes without changing to new clean gloves.
I hate to give such a bad review but you all make great burgers to order. Why not the fries?
Will not be back for a while. Get better please cuz I love your burgers and will come back eventually!

This place is simply unreal. I drive from Tacoma to Tri Cities a couple times a month, and this has become my go-to stop. The burger is absolutely delicious. The juicy meat, the soft bun, and the fresh, whole leaf lettuce are immaculate. I love the option of throwing a farm fresh egg on top. The fries are phenomenol and remind me of the 90s when beef tallow was the norm. And all of this for such a reasonable price. This place makes the trek across the state something to look forward to.
