Found this gem of a restaurant headed to Mt. Rushmore from Oregon. We ordered the Mozzarella Logs as an appetizer. They were ginormous and amazing! My husband ordered the Bacon Mac n Cheese Burger and said it was delicious. My mom order the shrimp street tacos with fried Brussel sprouts and ate it all, a rarity! I had the Old Reliable, the Pepperoni Pizza. Very good. Darcy, our server was attentive and sweet. We Highly recommend The Railyard!

After seeing all of the ads and pictures on Facebook we decided to try it out and we’re very excited! The place is really cool and our waiter was awesome, unfortunately the food was terrible. I ordered the fish and chips, my wife the fettuccini Alfredo and added shrimp. While my children both ordered Mac and cheese, one with fruit and the other their twister fries.
For me the fries were the only thing edible, the fish had been deep fried to the point it might as well been encased in a grease tasting rock. My wife’s fettuccini noodles and sauce were ok at best but she felt like the shrimp were microwaved or something. As for my children, both said the Mac and cheese was “nasty”, with my son only eating his fries. My daughter’s fruit appeared to just be canned mandarin oranges…
On a positive note the duck bacon wontons are amazing and we recommend those. Unfortunately after our first visit here we left four pretty much uneaten plates, paid our over $100 bill and went to McDonalds…

The duck bacon wonton are amazing. Walleye tacos and the honey chicken sandwich (spicy) are both worth trying. Service couldn’t have been better. We will definitely be back.

Great menu and drinks specials. The fries are huge, curly wedges, delicious! Friday night Singo is so fun. Great atmosphere!

Great food, service and fun atmosphere. Our server Darcy made sure my food was cooked according to my allergy needs. I had the Asian chicken salad and hubby had a fried egg burger. His burger and egg were cooked to his exact preference. The food was delicious! Can’t wait to come back soon.

Food was fine. Overpriced. $10 for 9 little smokies and 2 strips of bacon with what seemed like a whole (albeit unnecessary) can of easy cheese was disappointing. Our server (Darcy, I think) was great. Chicken on the grilled chicken sandwich was about an 1/8” thick. My wife’s cheesesteak was piled high though. Not worth $52 in my opinion.

2nd breakfast here. First one was their first one. so we won’t ding them for it. :). This visit was great, not too loud on the music this time, Chicken fried steak scramble was good, Croque Madame was wife’s pick and was all right. She had the BLT benedict last time and was really good. We definitely will eat here again. I tried breakfast burrito the week before, but using a chili verde sauce from a jar is not great. An authentic green chili is needed for that! hint hint hint.

I put in a late order tonight, sorry about that, but I received an awesome order, this is the 3rd time I ordered from RY. I have never been let down! I haven’t been inside yet, but I assume good cooking must have a nice atmosphere. But food and service, I need more stars!

Chicken Alfredo is good but you get a half size portion. Good food but for 18.95 you’d expect a little more.

Ordered a Ceasar salad with steak. It was the nastiest salad I’ve seen. Lettuce was wilted and limp, some pieces were slimey. Half the salad was large stems from the center of lettuce heads. Normaly, those parts are thrown out, or not used in a salad. Not the case here…
Waste of $20
Bacon wrapped jalepeno poppers were good.
