A fun surprise. We needed a break from BBQ, Mexican and Chinese food. Miami Cafe delivers! Great tasting Cuban style sandwiches. They also have lunch and dinner plates with marinated meats and traditional Puerto Rican sides.
Go try it and support this local area find. It’s a great change of pace and tasty food flavor different than the rest of Hwy 280.

ABSOLUTELY RECOMMEND this location to any and all who want to experience authentic Caribbean cuisine! I’ve never had true Caribbean food till a real close friend who is from Miami recommended this location to us. I was so excited and eager to try everything that I almost ruined my plate lol Luckily their chief was kind enough to educate me on how he prepares every meat before cooking and serving. He saved me from ruining a dish he’s perfected. I will say, adding the agave was not something I regret simply because it made the pork taste ever so slightly sweet enough for me to still enjoy the spices slowly soaked into every bite. Their dishes and drinks were amazing and I definitely would not have mind trying more of their foods if I had the room for it all. Please please please, ask for recommendations if you’re not sure of anything listed on their menu!

A new location for a local restaurant. Lunch today showed this is a popular place. The food was great. Lecon asada (slow roasted pork) ?? Beef emapanda and Jesus cake for dessert. I came for Cuban sandwich but decided to try something new. Definitely worth the trip back to try a new dish. Comments from the people seated around me show they enjoyed their food as well. The staff was very friendly and attentive to the diners.

Love, love, love this place ! The food is fantastic and we’re working our way thru the menu. Yesterday we had Caribbean chicken, black beans, rice, salad, and fried plantains. The service is really good and I can’t wait to go back. The owner, Luis, has been there each time we’ve visited and this is a good sign for a restaurant. Looking forward to the next visit and to the festival he has planned for April!

This place absolutely deserves to make it. It’s a family run restaurant. The food was sooooo good! The strawberry mojito that Luis made for us was the best I’d ever had. Although it was just 30 yards off 280, it felt like a thousand miles. Bienvenida a Miami!

Phenomenal! My wife and I lived in Miami for 5 years, and the Cuban sandwich I had today at Miami Fusion Cafe on 280 was among the best I’ve ever had. Followed with a Cuban coffee. I highly recommend.
