From start to finish, our evening at The Rack House was exceptional. We began with the lobster Rangoon appetizer, which was perfectly crisp and indulgent, followed by the French onion soup—rich, savory, and beautifully balanced. For entrées, the Cabernet short ribs were melt-in-your-mouth tender, while the Rack House style salmon was cooked to perfection with flavors that truly stood out.
Dessert was a highlight all its own: the banana bread pudding and bourbon caramel brûlée were decadent, creative, and the perfect sweet ending to an unforgettable meal.
Our waitress, Jade, provided impeccable service—attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable. She made the evening feel seamless and special.
Overall, this was one of the best dining experiences we’ve had. The food, service, and atmosphere all exceeded expectations. We’ll absolutely be returning and highly recommend The Rack House to anyone looking for an elevated yet welcoming place to dine in Gulfport.
The charcuterie board was a nice shareable app. The steak was delicious, highly recommend the add-ons. At $43 (plus toppings charges) it was great value that came with a side or salad as well. The peanut butter cheesecake was probably the best dessert I’ve had this year and I’ve had some fantastic meals all over the country.
All-in-all, great experience. The design and vibe is nice, friendly service, good cocktail program, nice steaks, and finally a nice Coast steakhouse not in a casino. Great job Rackhouse.
First of all, Lydia was incredible. She was so sweet, genuinely attentive, and had the kind of energy that just makes you feel taken care of without ever feeling hovered over. Her timing was perfect, her recommendations were spot on, and she gave the whole night such good, warm vibes.
We started with the lollipop lamb chops and WOW. Perfectly cooked, flavorful, and the kind of appetizer that makes you slow down and savor every bite.
For our entrées, my husband ordered the Wagyu ribeye and I had the 7 oz filet — both with surf and turf toppings — and they were cooked to absolute perfection. Tender, rich, and seasoned beautifully. My sweet potato crème brûlée side was unreal (sweet, savory, and caramelized on top in the best way), and his fries were crisp and delicious.
Drinks? Immaculate. My espresso martini was one of the best I’ve had — smooth, balanced, and not overly sweet. My husband started with Captain Morgan and Sprite and then had an Old Fashioned with smoke and cherry bitters, complete with the smoke presentation — such a cool touch and perfectly crafted.
And we cannot forget dessert: the peanut butter cheesecake. Creamy, decadent, and the perfect ending to an already phenomenal meal.
From the food to the drinks to the service, everything was top-tier. The Rack House delivered an experience, not just dinner — and we will absolutely be back.
Also, a big shout-out to their warm breads and butters. They arrived fresh out of the oven, and the butters were a delightful touch, complementing the bread perfectly, honey butter was my favorite. Our waiter was doing an excellent job. It’s one of those little details that truly elevates the dining experience. Overall, it was a memorable evening, and I’ll definitely be returning soon!
