My husband and I found this place after a poor experience with the female bartender at Basin Park Hotel. Candy greeted us upon arrival and we quickly realized this was our place for the night! There were other customers, but candy made us feel like we were the only ones there by how attentive she was and I noticed she was this way with everyone. We ordered food and again Candy made sure we were happy with our food and even offered suggestions on sauces we may like to mix for the best taste. She hustled the entire time we were there- THIS WOMAN DESERVES A RAISE! We will definitely be back to see her and people watch the folks in New Orleans! Music and atmosphere were a definite bonus.

I really enjoyed the energy of this bar. We had a few simple drinks. There was a one man band that I was really impressed by. He brought a fun vibe that got plenty of people dancing and excited. We didn’t have any food while there. It took us a while to find the spot. It was one of those bars that was in the mid section – not on the lower or the top lever. There is a door on the upper road. Look for the green light! See my photos to help you find it. It was challenging for us.

Went in there Saturday night, I ordered a burger and the food was amazing. My wife wanted to go for some drinks and listen to some music. The drinks were reasonably priced and the bartender was super friendly. As long as the wife is having a good time, so am I. Will definitely be going back next time we are in town!!!

We had such a lovely breakfast this morning at The Quarter, a jazz bar styled restaurant on the lower level of the New Orleans Hotel. There were so many New Orleans classics on the menu, but I just couldn’t resist getting Biscuits and Gravy! The buttermilk biscuits were hot and fluffy and so tasty with the peppered gravy. Crisp hot bacon and a little hot tea, and I’m a happy girl. Our waitress was the sweetest, we chatted about our trip and turned out her husband, the chef, is from Florida, too. This feels like a real family establishment, like visiting friends for a good meal. Can’t recommend it enough.

Stopping in for the 1st time on Halloween 2025, on a whim to grab dinner, was a perfectly lucky choice. The bar was festive and had a live performance coming up. Our Bartender was on point and left us feeling spoiled! And the food was delicious. It really felt like being in the French Quarter, too – thanks, Eureka folks!

LOVE THIS PLACE! Atmosphere is phenomenal. Service was even better. Food was out of this world. Had breakfast here for our last day. Shrimp and grits and mascarpone stuffed French toast. The shrimp and grits was to die for. I can’t stop thinking about it. 10/10 recommend this spot! Such a vibe!

This place brought me nightmares of a bad trip to Bourbon St in New Orleans. It’s located in the basement of the New Orleans Hotel and very cold. We managed to find a seating area that was somewhat warm and decided to stay and give it a try. Big mistake! Several food items on the menu were not available and what we ordered was hardly edible (loaded fries was a solid lump and super greasy). Drinks are pure toxic waste and gave us acid reflux. Will only recommend this stop to my enemies!

We were visiting for my husbands birthday and we were looking for a good local spot and this place seemed perfect so when we showed up there was no one inside and so we sat at the bar and after about 5 minutes finally the bartender came up to us and we told her we wanted to eat some burgers and to have a drink we put our orders in, we sat and waited…..over an HOUR mind you there was NO ONE in there. On the way to the quarter walking up the side stairs we seen a door open and it was to a kitchen. To the quarter come to find out and it was absolutely PUTRID. Dirty dishes everywhere nothing clean and everything an absolute nightmare…..after over an hour of waiting we never once was checked on. We noticed the bartender peaking through the curtains to see if we were still there! Then the cook came and finally brought our food that was lukewarm warm and he looked extremely high. It was disgusting. Me nor my husband ate and we didn’t want trouble so we paid. And walked out with all our food still on the plate.

Have had breakfast here several times and have always been impressed. Food is outrageously delicious and portions are generous. Prices very reasonable. Highly recommend! Photo is of my stuffed French toast, grits and bacon. That French toast is so very delectable.

Bar had a fun vibe, live music, and a Bourbon Street live feed behind the bar, which is a fun touch. Seating was comfortable. As others have said, the bar staff kinda had a real attitude, but made a good drink! So it was fine. Kitchen is open late and the food really hits the spot. Drink prices are so-so. Overall enjoyable time!
