CP Between the Lakes, The Pub, or formally known as Corner Pub, originated circa 2013 associated with the local chain “Corner Pub.” The Pub was sold to one of the original partial owners, Jason Gregory, in 2019. He then renamed the restaurant “CP Between the Lakes” after his son, Carmyne. Jason poured his heart and soul into this restaurant for the majority of his life, however; Jason Gregory tragically passed away in May of 2021. He left behind a part of him within the pub that Stephanie and Kevin DeLong revived at the end of 2021.

My wife got the Reuben Sandwich with French Fries. Also very good she proclaimed; ate half and brought half home. Fries were cold, or by the time I tasted them they were…
4 stars, no cloth napkins, but can not complain about food or service. Mid afternoon about 2:45 p.m. Men’s room was clean!! Kudos
I ordered to go.
Turkey burger, side of fried pickles.
Sandwich wrap with a side of cheese fries.
Roughly $30 with a tip for all the food, not too bad.
Turkey Burger, very bland, no real flavor to the burger and the cheese were not good.
The fried pickles are extremely greasy.
The wrap, well, it’s a wrap, hard to mess that up.
Fries were probably the best part?
Just very much below average bar food.
The country fried chicken was pretty good! Crispy and tender, plenty of gravy. Okra was about what I expected. Mac and cheese? The sauce was so thin, it might as well be soup. Tasted like diluted white cheddar. My old school cafeteria did better than this. I cleaned my plate, but it wasn’t worth $20 plus tip.
I later found a chunk of poop on the ground in a bathroom stall. It took everything in me not to hurl. Looked like it had been there for a while.
