First off, we are Snow Birds from New England.
The U-Peel shrimp was fabulous. We had a 1/2 pound & it was delicious! You can order it warm or cold. We had it on ice and it was perfect. Large shrimp w lemon & cocktail sauce.
I had a wonderful clam chowder and my husband the King plate w scallops & crab cake.
Six scallops and one large crab cake. All fabulous. The sweet potato fries were the best ever. I thought they were carrots on the plate! So large & not skinny little ones that you get in most places. If you like fish this is the place for you. Amazing BOWLS presented in a unique manner! Try it!
Suggestions to owner: Perhaps, offer a steak for non-fish eaters.

Last night was our second visit to Proud Crab and once again we weren’t disappointed. We got the gator bites and chilled rock shrimp appetizers, which were delicious. The boiled is where it’s at though, my friend and I shared a la carte snow crab, crawfish, and shrimp in the Proud crab sauce (spicy), the sauce has a lot of good flavors but not too salty which doesn’t leave you feeling thirsty after you’re done eating. I think the price is fair considering how everything is going up these days, you’re definitely getting good quality seafood!

The food was Amazing! And the service from Iris was the best!! Recommend getting a seafood boil ! The seafood was cooked to perfection and believe it or not… the best corn I’ve ever had! The sauces they add to the boil make sure each every bite is packed with flavor. Highly recommend the Proud Crab and we will be going back!

Second time dining there. I visit many restaurants for sea food and this is one of my favorites. Top #1. 5 stars. the owner is very friendly and the staff is fantastic. If you want good seafood, This is the place to go. We always get the family meal plater because we like to take leftovers home. Yummy, Yummy.

Wow, surprisingly good. Fast, clean, good service. I ordered the 1/2 lb rock shrimp. Came with corn, potatoes and sausage. Got the shrimp with proud seasoning and medium spice. Very good. Wife ordered coconut shrimp and chicken tenders off the pick two menu. Shrimp was awesome, chicken was so, so. She said she should have ordered twice the amount of shrimp. Table across from us both ordered whole lobsters for $29/ea. It was on special. Looked yummy and they said they were very good.
They have an extensive menu with plenty of seafood. Waitress said order from the black side of the menu, those are what Proud Crab was known for.
We will be back.

I’ve been patiently waiting for this place to open! I checked reviews before we came just to see how they were doing and I have to say, I disagree with the negativity. Prices are just right in my opinion. We paid got two sodas, I got a seafood boil with shrimp, crab legs and mussels (10/10 recommend the “Proud Special” sauce) and my fiancé got fried shrimp and oysters, we paid $65 for everything. Service was fantastic, quick and friendly! Will 100% treat ourselves again here!!

Food was amazing but they need to work on customer service and acknowledging customers waiting to order water from the bar while waiting to be seated. Yes our order was wrong but they did fix it and we are all human. ❤️

Me and my husband came here for a night out and my were we impressed. The staff was very friendly and helpful our waitress was very attentive. Our food came out super quick and it was so delicious we will definitely be going back and have this spot locked in as a favorites.
