This cafe is inside of The Diplomat and the only one available. It looks really nice inside but I wasn’t thrilled about their iced coffee (which was $6.42 for a medium). I thought this cafe would have better coffee than the one that was given throughout the day at the conference. It tastes exactly the same and is probably from there. It’s bitter and tastes burnt—had to add milk to it which I typically do not prefer. The line is really long in the mornings and there’s only one person working the register (however, the staffs are friendly).

They have amazing coffee, cakes, snacks, salads pizza and many more.
Staffs are polite and nice but service seems slow. Especially busy and super long queue during noon.
Perhaps hiring more member would resolve this matter.

I can’t speak to the quality of the other foods, but their blueberry glazed and chocolate glazed donuts were lovely. The blueberry was especially surprising; one of the best we’ve ever had! Great glaze texture and crackling on the outside, with dense and flavorful dough on the inside. The cronuts are absolutely delicious, highly recommended.

Prices are excessively high, though (similarly to all the other eateries in the Diplomat Resort). Each donut was $6, and we asked the price of a small bottle of juice: $12. Insane. If you want cheaper delicious foods, check out places just North on the Boardwalk (aka Broadwalk).

Absolutely loved my visit here! Very friendly staff (Carina and Lucy) who make you feel welcome, delicious coffee that’s perfectly brewed, and a cozy atmosphere that’s perfect for relaxing or getting some work done. Highly recommend!

Such a cute cafe! All of their baked goods looked and smelled divine. Did not get the chance to try them though. However, we did try the Caramel Macchiato, Margherita pizza, and the El Cubano sandwich. All of which I highly recommend.

Amazing place. This is the one jewel in the horrible hotel. The people and the employees are INCREDIBLY KIND and will care for your satisfaction. They listen carefully to any special requests (oat milk instead of regular milk for me) and deliver with exceptional SPEED! Their service was never slow. The max wait time was 5 minutes during the 10 times I was here during my stay. They love their jobs and TRULY CARE! They pay attention to detail with such care it’s shocking because the rest of my Diplomat stay was crap.

Got an iced coffee and it tasted like dirt. I didn’t even end up drinking it because of how bad it was. At least it was 6$ lol just go down the street to the Argentinian restaurant for good coffee

Jim is truly an angel. I can’t speak to the food, but the coffee is delightful. What really got the five stars though, was Jim. I had come 2 days in a row, and the second day I was clearly very upset. Jim gave me kind words, talked to me about his time spent the city in which I go to school, and just made me feel much better. The world is better with people like this in it. Jim—if you ever see this, thank you – Howard Law

Counter Point Cafe is in the lobby of the Diplomat hotel. The food is delicious, the service is top-notch, and the atmosphere is warm and inviting. I ordered takeout for breakfast and was impressed by the quality—everything was fresh and flavorful. The Cuban sandwich was so good, I had one every day!

A special shoutout to Simone and Lucy for their exceptional customer service. They were polite, attentive, and made my experience even better. Their friendly attitude and professionalism truly stood out.

If you’re looking for amazing food, coffee, snacks, and outstanding service, this is the place to go. Highly recommend!

Food itself was okay, the price was just wild. Can easily spend like 30-40 bucks just on two or three coffees. Customer service was a mixture – some people were really friendly and helpful, others were barely paying attention
