We visited last Friday night around 6pm and waited for about 20 min for a table. The attendant was very helpful and amiable. The wait person was attentive. The appetizers were delicious and enough for three people. We had the tomato salad and the roasted carrots. One person had the hake fish and finished it, another had the fried chicken and found it a bit too sweet for them so only had a small piece of it but really liked the cornbread, and I had the cheeseburger which was okay. I didn’t care for the sesame bun, as sesame gives an off flavor for me. Overall the meal was good but to be honest way too expensive. Nothing was under $22 for a main meal.

The Southern fried chicken and cornbread was amazing served with fresh arugula greens. We shared a green bean salad which was delicious and French fries, which were some of the best I’ve ever had. The old fashion cocktail was also a winner. Love this restaurant. We sat outside on the lawn; I recommend bringing insect repellant.

Delicious fine dining in a cozy unpretentious setting. The restaurant is in an old restored large home. It was busy at dinner time but the staff was friendly and everything came out fast. They did accommodate my vegan wife with the roasted veggies plate and kohlrabi salad.

We returned 2 years after our first visit – food was still delicious though not as flawless, portions seemed bigger. We had kids in tow this time and probably should have asked to sit outside so we were less in the way.

Came here right when it opened so there was no wait time to be seated. Our food did take a while to arrive but it tasted fresh and delicious! The portion sizes were pretty big as well. It seems like they have a rotating menu so would definitely come back!

Went on a busy Saturday night and as expected, the place was hopping. Ate at the bar (which is a fav area). Bartenders were very attentive. Some of the food was fabulous and other things we ordered were a little bland. Maybe we just ordered off given we stuck with vegetarian options. Cocktails were not awesome to be honest despite having great ingredients listed for each. Perhaps because they were served in tall glasses over ice it just changed the flavor.

Enjoyed our drinks and dinner here. Got to eat outside under the string lights on a beautiful night. Make sure to show up early, as they do run out of items (we were the second round of guests and they were out of the steak). The menu has tasty vegetarian options, too. Would definitely consider coming back the next time we’re in GB!

The focaccia with ricotta was gorgeous; I’m so used to flavorless ricotta, I was stunned at the lemon, salt, pepper and olive oil that permeated theirs so brightly. This place did not shy away from flavor. My group got the vegetarian plate, trout, bouillabaisse special, fried cauliflower appetizer, and I got the brick chicken. The cauliflower and chicken were standout stars, great acid, perfectly cooked, beautifully seasoned. My one “complaint” might be that the toffee pudding was a little dry?
