First off, the proprietor of this stand was a true gem. He was exceptionally friendly, helpful, and fun. Beyond that the poke and the mochi donuts were excellent. My only minor complaint is that the pricing system is a little strange with each scoop of fish costing more which doesn’t really make sense when you’re a poke place. Just build it into your price? But regardless, I’ll happily be back.

Downgraded to 1 star 8/26/22. Apparently the the owners do not tip out the staff and keep 100% of the tips when customers pay with a card. So tip in cash or skip this location.

Not traditional Hawaiian style poké where the fish is marinated. You pick your protein and they stir in the sauce before adding to your bowl like most chain places. The $13 portion (2 scoops) was fairly generous and the add-ins were all fresh. The service is fast and friendly and both the tuna and salmon were good quality. They do more than just poké, including these little donuts that look like a nice snack or dessert.

California rolls are my favorite sushi (I know, basic) and the California rolls here are the best I’ve had. I hadn’t had them served with yum sauce before I had them here but it’s a great idea and the quality and price make them worth driving across the city for. They also have yummy mochi donuts which are a fun treat. They have a different flavor from regular donuts (I think it’s rice flour?) and I like them better.

This location and the one in Marriottsville are great! Haven’t had any issues with my orders and they are always generous with sauces so your toppings aren’t dry.

Asked for a plain tuna roll and they packed it with avocado, cucumbers and yum yum sauce on it. They barely put fish in it. Taste is mediocre. Skip the plan sushi if you plan on visiting here

I went here yesterday for lunch and got a bowl. I ordered all the toppings except for raw red onion, white rice, and puffed tofu. Crunchy topping wise I got the fried onions, wasabi peas, and seaweed. For the sauces I did a combo of spicy Mayo + their spicy red sauce (gochujang). It was delicious! I will go again!

I have eaten here 3 times and had stomach cramps and diarrhea 2 times (yesterday was the 2nd). Yesterday, while we were waiting for our food, we saw cockroaches crawling on the counter, on the wall and one of our dishes had a bug in it. This place needs to close until they can fix this issue. Why my stomach is bothered, I am not sure but not eating here any more. I said something to the guy making the poke bowls about the bugs…no real response. Why we ended up eating from there, I am not sure. I will reach out to health department to make sure they do something. I have pictures too. We have to say something if we see something!

I love this place. We came for the masubi and they were so delicious. 10 out of 10 we also had the seaweed salad, the spicy tuna roll(which could’ve been spicier), and edamame. Service was good. The lady attending said there was gonna be a wait for my edamame and in the end I think the weight was maybe one or two minutes she managed to expectations well and exceeded with the food experience.

Ordered for dine in on a whim. Mochinut was sold out. Wonton soup came out with wontons with a frozen center. Eel sushi was super dry and not tasty
