HOLY BISON BURGER!!! This place is outstanding. Found this hidden gem on a cross country roadtrip from San Diego and everything was exceptional. I had the bison burger and my wife had a chessesteak with bison. I also had a bison dog with a homemade jalepeno relish that was amazing. The owner works the kitchen and everything is made from scratch. The food truck is located at Miner brewing CO which has tons of room for the kids to run and play, also great beer. DO NOT HESITATE, THIS IS YOUR SPOT FOR FOOD!!!

Best sauerkraut dog I’ve ever eaten. This place is a must stop. I love hot dogs and after eating this, we want to hook up their trailer to our car and haul them back to AZ with us. Worth it!!

We had the bison burger and the tatanka bison hotdog with a side of baked beans and the pasta salad. For the price, everything was small and unfortunately nothing spectacular. The $10 burger was so small that just after two bites, it was almost half gone and I expected a lot more from a $7 hotdog. The toppings were skimpy and if you’ve never had a bison dog, it’s a similar texture to salami which I hadn’t expected. It did taste good at least. The sides were $3.50 each and came in little cups. My husband’s pasta salad was bland and the cup wasn’t even filled, so definitely not worth the price. The beans were good but to top off our underwhelming experience, they were scalding hot and burned my mouth.

A great addition to Miner Brewing! Order at the truck or use the QR codes at the table- either way you will get a text when your food is ready. Highly recommend the “Gold Rush” tater tot dish! Everything was hot, delicious, and fairly priced.

Got dinner from Prairie Dog and drinks at the Miner. We all had the Bison burger which was excellent. We shared the loaded tots as well. Love the sauce! Enthusiastic staff even came to loom for us when we didn’t get their texts that the food was ready due to our out of state cell reception.

Food truck at Miner brewing. Awesome food and exceptional service from the folks at The Prairie Dog today. The garlic sauerkraut was fantastic on the “Settler’s claim” and the fried egg on “The Gold Rush” was a perfect over medium. Big shout out to them and cant wait for our next visit!

This place is a hidden gem! We met the owners Jimmy and Michael the day before coming in, and they suggested we stop by their food truck while in town. So glad we did!! Wonderful hospitality from them both. The food was delicious! The General Custer is comparable to a take on a Philly cheesesteak, with tender Buffalo and yummy melted cheese. A sandwich I will surely think about until I’m able to visit Custer again!! The gold rush appetizer was seriously delicious as well, alongside the potato salad side we had. We actually had to get another potato salad to go for the road because it was so good!

The owner was great, he saw my daughter take a tumble and gave her a cookie to help cheer her up! A great feature they offer is the ability to access the menu and pay online. Loved the fact that we did not have to get up from our table. Highly recommended the Buffalo philly, it’s fantastic!

Mike the owner is a great guy. Super friendly and really great customer service. This wasn’t your normal hotdog cart. Our group had the Rushmore Rattler, Tatanka, Gold Rush, and the General Custer. It was all really good. He packed a lot of flavor in every bit. The Tatanka was my favorite dog, but the bread for the Custer was so good! If you get a chance to stop by, you won’t be disappointed.

Great experience with The Prairie Dog! We got food from the guys while they were stationed at Miner Brewing Company. The guys were super nice and had good recommendations for food for us. We got the bison burger, bison philly, and the fancy tater tots. The food was tasty. We also got a cookie on our way out which was also good fresh out of the oven.
