Dinner was delicious! Vibe was great! The service and servers were amazing, friendly and accommodating! The Chef was amazing! I work a lot in Taos and I’m always hesitant on going and having dinner alone. But, I did want to watch the game and enjoy some good food! And the Pour House did not disappoint! Found my new favorite spot to have a delicious dinner and enjoy amazing customer service. Thank you all for making my night a great one after a long day of work! And the spot was decorated so beautifully! I wanted to take a bagillion selfies!

This ain’t it. A half-hearted attempt at an “elevated experience” that never quite leaves the ground. Service was… odd. We were asked our ages—not to card us, but to see if we qualified for the senior discount. We’re in our early forties. Bold strategy.
For “starters,” if your menu has five items, maybe don’t run out of the chicken bites.
The cartoon lineup felt more Chuck-E-Cheese than wine bar/cocktail lounge. The wine selection at a place calling itself a “Pour House” was giving strong Walgreens end-cap energy. The food was pour quality bar fare wearing an upscale costume it hadn’t earned.
A real shame to sacrifice the only genuinely good coffee shop in town for… whatever this is trying to be.

In town for a couple of days and wanted to explore the town. In my Facebook feed, I saw an advertisement for 50 cent wings so told hubs lets GO!!!
Arrived a little after 2pm Sunday and Kellie greeted us. From the jump she made us feel we had arrived at her place. Asked if there was a particular game to watch. What we would like to chug and grub etc.
She put the game on the full screen, gave Bruce our order in which he whip up some fresh delicious wings. Sweet chili is what we got.
Totally recommend this spot and wish I could have this in the bay area.

Bistro salad with chicken. Delicious, fresh and very satisfying. Beautiful colors in salad and nicely charred chicken breast (although a little dry, but a little lemon did the trick).

I went out to a solo dinner last night. Alexander was my server. The service and food were on point. I had the charred Ceasar salad with shrimp with Malbec. The wine suggestion paired well. Presentation was beautiful. The food was fresh, delicious, and the shrimp were cooked to perfection. Great atmosphere. I love that they have a TV dedicated to mesmerizing nature/sea life, not just sports, for us neurodivergent types. The Chef made himself very accessible to guests. The chocolate creme brulé was AMAZING. Highly recommend!

So being new to Taos and having the opportunity to spend three weeks at the Taos Valley Lodge I wanted to share my experience with the espresso bar and pour house while I’ve been here. First of all, the people have been very nice and good to me. I’ve had the pleasure to be able to get up in the morning and come in to the espresso bar for a late breakfast and coffee not only is it convenient, but I have enjoyed everything that I have had there. As far as the poor house, it is a pleasure to be able to have the convenience to be able to walk down from my room and enjoy a large variety of different options on the menu that I have found to be Very enjoyable. Over time I have had the pleasure to get to know the service staff who have been happy to go out of their way to take care of me you got this and make sure that my experience has been pleasurable! It is my recommendation that if you’re in the neighborhood to swing by and enjoy the experience for yourself!

Food: No stars. The worst tasting burger Ive ever had! I dont think they know what salt and pepper even are much less some burger or steak seasoning. I am not hard to please when it comes to food but a half raw burger with no flavor, and no spice to the Chile, with a side of untruffled truffle fries, it was easy to not want to finish anything we ordered. Ive never seen my husband not finish a steak either. They begged to remake my burger but I told them it wouldnt have been good fully cooked anyways with no seasoning. We could hear the cook shouting “why” in the back and giving his explanation as to why medium rare burgers taste better. He didnt come outside to talk to us to our faces but the owner came to comp the burger for us. Ive never been so unhappy with a meal. I havent eaten McDonald’s in years and we went there for a decent and spicy green Chile burger.
Service: Nice and friendly, small communication barrier but very nice bartender!
Atmosphere: Very nice looking, it gave high hopes until we tasted the food. They could really use some help with the food quality and I think this place could go far. I understood exactly why there was only 2 other people in there at 830 on a Tuesday.

A special mention to The Pour House Bar & Grill — the food there is exceptional, especially the salmon and grilled chicken . I’m completely in love with it! Highly recommend this place for anyone visiting Taos. ️✨

The Pour House was fresh, well-prepared, and full of flavor. Every dish tasted freshly made and was served hot. The quality and taste really stood out and made the experience enjoyable. Definitely worth trying again for the food alone.
