I’ve been ordering from Canaima for over three years. Consisten quality and great service. I love good pastelitos. In my opinion the best pastelitos are queso and papa. Excellent option for catering with fair price. I’ve used their tequeños for many events including wedding and birthdays. I like that I can order ahead or come at my own time. I will continue to come to Canaima.

Wow, one of the best empanadas I’ve ever had!! I got the empanada de pabellon and the pastelito andino. The empanada was SOOOO flavorful and delicious with a nice yummy, chewy shell. I was a little disappointed with the small amount of filling in the pastelito, but it was delicious anyway! Sauces were also very good. This was my first time eating here and will definitely be back very very soon.

Had the Cachapa con carne mechada ( shredded beef) which was incredible. The filling was delicious but I could have eaten the outside soft “shell” all by itself it was so good. Really well done here. Great location with multiple other restaurants to also choose from.

We stop by here anytime we’re in Raleigh. Her pastelitos are some of our favorites. They are always fresh and delicious especially with the salsa verde. I would highly recommend and it’s a place we will always bring people too when they visit. The prices are also great. Personal favorite are the plantain con queso y jamon con queso but you can’t go wrong.
