Don’t let the mixed reviews deter you, this is a must visit spot in Estes. We thankfully were able to order through our server, not an app. The food was fantastic. I actually wasn’t expecting much, but we will be back. First, don’t miss the bacon and syrup appetizer, it was great. We had a large party for brunch and everyone was delighted with what they ordered. The library downstairs is very cool.

We were glad that we were able to be seated at the bar right away. The have several of their own beers and a full bar. The El Corn amber was honestly one of the best amber beers I’ve ever had, smooth and not at all bitter. We got the cheddar biscuits and sausage as well as the chicken huevos ranchers (it’s a chicken place so a lot of their entrees randomly have fried chicken tenders, but it works). Both were very good. This was a cool place and I’m glad that we stopped in.

First, Melissa was amazing and made it a super fun night!! Thank you Melissa. The food is incredible. Everything we ate was amazing. This is our second time here and this time was even better than the first. I don’t usually eat chicken but the chicken strips are so hot and fresh and incredible. Plus, the scenery is amazing and the bathroom is super cool.

What a joy to have so many delicious Gluten Free Options at a nice sit down restaurant! The mountain view from our table was glorious! Melissa was an absolute delight while serving us and helped me navigate all my GF options! We felt right at home even as first time guests!

Last time we came here it was horrible about one year ago.Now the food is improving but I don’t think the chicken should be gluten free because its dried out.The Mac and cheese tasted like store bought from Safeway, “THE TARTER SAUCE” Was very watery and it itches your throat. The mash potatoes are ok but I thought the gravy was very sweet and the potatoes were good and soft but a little too soft. The service was ok but I will give them a bonus point for an extra side because they miss heard. And the wait for the food was about 20 minutes as well. I also would recommend a coat because my phone said I was 61 degrees. Also at the end of the service they charge you extra for broccoli because they said that it was $2 extra money did not say anything about that and they said all sides are free. I recommend coming here once a year for hot summer day when it’s hot outside.

My spouse and I stopped by The Post for a pre-concert dinner on a Friday night. We didn’t have a reservation, but had no issues grabbing a couple of seats at the bar. The atmosphere was busy, but warm and inviting. We ordered the hushpuppies as an app, and the OG chicken sandwich and bison burger, both with the green chile mac and cheese for our mains. Everything was incredibly fresh, hot, and delicious! The chicken sandwich was pretty large, and the pickle relish that came with it was so good. The bison burger was cooked perfectly and the cream cheese and mushrooms really enhanced the flavor. The hushpuppies in the honey chile sauce were just the right size, and not too spicy at all. The green chili Mac and cheese had quite a bite to it, definitely spicy! The service was genuinely friendly, and we enjoyed chatting with the bar tender. Pricing was on point for the area, and parking was free during the off season. Definitely a good choice if you’re visiting Estes!

The Post is always a banger! We visited recently and Kolby was our server, upon arrival Steve greeted us (quite possibly with the best hair in Estes Park) with a large smile and really made us feel welcome! This was our second time eating at The Post and we were just as pleased as the first. Kolby gave excellent service and Steve made sure to come chat and make us feel welcome. 5 star visit across the board, as a restaurant owner myself, I am constantly striving to find great people like Steve and Kolby! Keep up the great work! Don’t forget to try the hushpuppies, they are out of this world!
