Buzzy hot spot draws crowds with inventive seafood dishes, plus a raw bar, cocktails & hip digs.

The Port Restaurant is a solid pick for a post-beach happy hour or a casual start to your evening. While the full meals are available, the real highlight here is the laid-back vibe and the appetizer and drink scene—especially in the back and outside areas, which offer a more relaxed atmosphere, while the inside feels more formal. The menu is more strict and compact, so it’s a good idea to check ahead if you have any dietary restrictions or allergies. Prices are definitely on the higher side compared to nearby spots, which might explain the mixed reviews. My experiences have varied, but the atmosphere is enjoyable, and I’ll definitely return for drinks and apps after a day in the sun.
(Photos are from dinner – we did really enjoy it but prefer drinks and appetizers here instead)

We were not so thrilled when we first got there as the place only employed a handful of teens. However we were pleasantly surprised by how professional they were. We were able to have the special oyster at $1 a piece and they tasted good. The cocktails were absolutely well made and delicious. Overall we had a great time. Everything came out to our liking and more. Our waitress was very nice, diligent and efficient. We will visit again soon.

The food is great. We come every year. Sat out front and watched the people go by. Chatham oysters were yummy as was the kale salad, tuna nachos and tuna tartar. Service was attentive.

Let me make it very easy for you all to understand. They have three type menus. One is offered in the morning, and you have got to try the lobster roll from that menu. If you miss the morning menu, then don’t get discouraged because there is a 3-5 PM menu that comes with soups and dollar clams. Lastly, there is a regular menu. You may have to wait for a while if you miss the morning lobster roll.

The food here is phenomenal. Highly recommend the lobster bisque and breaded haddock! We also had oysters, and the lobster pasta which was flavorful and delicious. Also the mudslides are wildly alcoholic and a fun pair with an amazing meal. Don’t listen to the negative reviews on here the food is 10/10 they also have an outdoor section with a much younger crowd, but if you’re in the main restaurant, it’s a really nice atmosphere.

Amazing place! I don’t regret walking into there. To start, it was so easy to get into, and the service was so fast! Also the food was delectable. I got the Summer Salad which was the perfect combo of sweet and savory, the truffle fries which had the best truffle I’ve tasted, my lemonade had the perfect amount of tanginess, and last but not least the fried Oreos, they were so filling and creamy, I wasn’t expecting what I got when they delivered the Oreos to me. They looked like an ice cream sundae but Oreo style. The atmosphere is quite comfortable with easy access to the door, and nice, fun background music and cool photos! I would give The Port a 4/5.

Not a bad spot. Foods slightly overpriced for what it is but that’s typical across the cape. Scallops risotto (34$) was good. Drinks were also on the pricey side, 17$ for a makers mark Manhattan that didn’t come with a cherry like the description claimed.

Oysters were cold and delicious, we sat at the bar where Henry was very attentive. Good wine by the glass list. Rib eye special was tasty and the swordfish fresh. Overall excellent. For dessert I would get the banana foster, looks good from afar however the fried oreos were amazing with ice cream.

Service was nice, our waitress was kind and welcoming. If there are no other restaurants available for quick seating then I understand going here but otherwise would recommend going elsewhere to get your moneys worth. The wagyu hamburger was $25 could get something better tasting elsewhere for that amount, the fries seemed like they were frozen from a bag you’d get at target. Tacos were alright pretty standard nothing that would warrant a $24 price tag. Would recommend their cocktails rather than bottled or canned drinks. A high noon was $10 lol

Great food and very nice seating. Super clean and really enjoyed it. 4 stars because we couldn’t order oysters, they didn’t have enough shuckers for the amount of orders they had.
