I’ve been in hospitality for over 25 years and appreciate excellent service. Every time we are at Coco’s, that is what we get, courtesy of Taiga. She has personality for days, but provides professional and efficient service. We would go to Coco’s just for her, but the grouper cheeks can’t be beat, especially on Wednesdays when appetizers are half price.
That’s another thing about Coco’s–they have different specials every day and a great happy hour selection.
We always have great food and great service for a very fair price.
We ordered the chips and salsa along with the Old Seafood Bay Feast to share, and it was absolutely delicious. The portion was huge and definitely meant for sharing. Everything tasted fresh, and the prices were very reasonable. Despite the entrée having a lot of seafood, this ended up being the cheapest meal we had during our entire stay in Clearwater.
We were in Clearwater for over a week, and this place ended up being my favorite restaurant of the whole trip.
OMG!
SO GOOD, SO GOOD, SO GOOD!
We had the best time while in Clearwater Florida at Coco’s North! We closed our vacation with our last evening out here! We called ahead to make sure they could accommodate eight of us, they said come on down we’d love to have you! So we did! We couldn’t be more happy ❤️ !
Upon our arrival, we were greeted by Kyle ( black shirt behind bar ), the Manager who said… I remember you guys from last year! Well from that point going forward we had a blast of a time!
This establishment is a great little place, and I mean a GREAT place to eat, have fun and the drinks were great too! The staff was so friendly, it was like we all had known each other for years!
I was surprised at how reasonable the menu prices were for this area! We had already been staying in Clearwater going on our 4th night, where we ate out each night. So, without a doubt I can tell you that Coco’s had the best priced menu items by far! The food arrived so very quickly as well, and it was so tasty! This establishment doesn’t have your typical bar food, AT ALL, they have a full menu to choose from!
To top it off… they had live music! The two guys who played had a melody all of their own and were a kick! They interacted with their guests of ages including our youngsters! They did not have much room to dance, but that didn’t matter, not one bit! Even the owner, YES THE OWNER, Glenn (turquoise shirt, joined us all on the dance floor! No need to have a partner, it was a just get up and dance with everyone atmosphere!
WE ALL HAD AN AWESOME EXPERIENCE! So, if you are in Clearwater look them up, I believe there are two Coco’s, but we hit the North one. Don’t pass them up! Our party of 8 stayed until they closed having the best time!
Thank you Kyle and Glenn for an evening that not one of us will ever forget! ♥️ And for the round on the house too!
We had three appetizers: Bavarian Pretzel, Boom Boom Brussel Sprouts, the Monkey Balls (crab). The pretzel was what you’d expect but the Brussel Sprouts were awesome and so were the deep fried crab balls.
She let us know that all their fruit cocktail drinks had freshly squeezed fruit juices and not mixers which was a huge selling point for me. A local gem that we hadn’t heard about. We’ll definitely be going back again. Great casual bar vibe and we loved being able to sit outside!
