Reviews
Oh, and for those currently observing Ramadan, they offer a takeaway meal option for breaking your fast after sunset. A thoughtful and an inclusive business model.
We will be back!
Long reviews are my fave, and this restaurant DEFINITELY deserves one. Where to start?! I went last Thursday night for a late dinner (around 8:30pm, 01/29/2026). There were a few families for dine in, and I saw some pickup orders come in. But mostly, it was a quiet, pleasant experience. But let’s talk FOOD. First and foremost, they are lovely people and are super easy to talk to! I was so grateful to take my time ordering and asking questions. I ended up getting the platter for 2 (two chicken plates, 2 sides, 2 sauces) for 35$. I got the “medium” and “lemon pepper” spices for chicken, and the roasted corn on the cob. Hear me when I say, it was incredible! I ate one chicken plate and the corn in restaurant, and took the other chicken home as leftovers.
I am so impressed by the quality of food, cleanliness of the eating area, and the friendliness of the staff.
The Port of Peri Peri is a MUST-have restaurant in Bothell!!
Coming to the food, they have a big variety of grilled chicken, sandwiches, pita etc. We got the signature chicken with two sauces: lemon & herb and medium. Neither of them felt spicy to us, but we do handle spice well.
If you can’t handle spice, definitely pick a lower level. If you like spice, you can even go above medium. Also, don’t forget to try their white sauce & chili sauce for the extra flavor.
For sides, we got the rice and the perimayo corn. Both were delicious. We finished everything and already want to go back to try more items.
The service was quick and friendly. The owner himself recommended what to try based on what we like, and he checked on us a couple of times, which was nice.
Overall, it’s a great spot and something different to try. I don’t think you’ll be disappointed. I’m excited to go back again.
The pasteis de nata was amazing too- mildly sweet.
See pictures attached.
I highly recommend this restaurant to vegetarians.
My husband tried their chicken sizzler burger and loved it too. This place offers and wide range of chicken and non-veg options, but there are plenty of options for vegetarians too.
Now on to the food- some of the BEST peri peri chicken I’ve had in quite some time. Very soft chicken and seasoned to perfection. We got the lemon & herb wings and that sauce was by far my favorite.
All the sides were a very decent portion (more than I expected for a side dish)
The sides were just as impressive: the corn and salads were fresh, well-seasoned, and paired perfectly with the chicken. You can tell a lot of care goes into the food, not just the sauces.
We were also pleasantly surprised by the drinks, the spiced coffee and tea were unique and comforting, adding a really nice touch to the overall experience.
However, it’s self-service via a kiosk that asks for a tip, which feels like a total guilt tip. To make matters worse, the tip percentages are calculated incorrectly
While the staff is polite and friendly, the shady kiosk experience really soured the visit.
Tried Port of Peri Peri and it was absolutely delicious! The food was fresh, flavorful, and perfectly seasoned.
The wings were the highlight, so crispy, juicy, and packed with peri peri flavor. Honestly, some of the best wings I’ve had!
Great taste, great portion size, and overall a must-try spot. Definitely coming back again!
The grilled chicken was juicy and full of flavor, and the rice was perfectly seasoned. Their lemon & herb sauce was a standout — tangy, vibrant, and perfect for those who enjoy milder heat without compromising on taste.
Also, do not skip the Adeni chai — it was warm, aromatic, and the perfect finish to our meal.
Great food, thoughtful service, and a cozy setting!
The tenders were juicy and seasoned well, definitely not your average fast-food style. Heat levels were on point too—spicy but enjoyable rather than overwhelming.
The only drawback is the portion size for the price point. For what you pay, you’d expect slightly more generous servings, especially with the rice bowls. That said, the quality and flavor are undeniable, and if you’re a fan of bold, spicy food, this spot is worth checking out.
