Food was delicious! The chicken pieces were juicy and tender, fries with peri peri salt were nice and crispy, and the sizzler sandwich satisfied. Their garlic sauce went with everything too! Service was fast and polite, would come back!

We ordered a full chicken (half mild and half medium spicy). It came with two sides, we got fries and corn. The chicken was amazing, very flavorful and juicy. The corn could have been better, it wasn’t too juicy. We also got some Peri Peri wings, which were yummy too. Overall great food though. It wasn’t too spicy for our 5 yr old. We went for dinner, it was busy but not packed. You have to place your order at the counter and get your own plates and utensils. The staff bring out the food when it’s ready. They are also very friendly and helpful. Price is reasonable too.

Service and food were awful. Ordered tenders for my 4 year old. For kids meal, juice was included but they gave us water bottle. And he was not intended to tell first that they are running out of juice. Chicken was so hard that he couldn’t chew it. On checking with the staff, there were not ready to change the item to wings. Chicken bowl was not up to the mark. Again out of 4 pieces , 3 were hard and rice was very dry.

I wanted to try Portuguese food so I came to check it out. Ordered the one-for-all which was the peri peri chicken and fries. The coke was separate. The portion size is definitely enough for two people. The chicken quality is average to be honest. I would have preferred a juicer chicken. That is not saying that it was dry but rather it could be improved. The sauce was a chili hot sauce that had a good variety of spice levels. I enjoyed the cassava fries. Overall a nice experience and I look forward to trying the other menu items.

I’ve been ordering from here almost every weekend, but I’m really disappointed with the quality control. This time I ordered the peri peri chicken breast and one piece was very small — almost half missing — while the other piece was normal. In the past, I’ve also received orders without sauce or with very small portions. I really enjoy your food, but the inconsistency is frustrating. Please make sure portions are fair and complete, because as a regular customer I can’t tolerate this anymore.

Drove from Sacramento for 2 hours to eat here. There was a 45 min wait to cook food since there was a catering order. What the hell man so just have the regular customer wait. Only had fries to offer to eat.

Peri peri wings is good – Not too dry, at the same time not undercooked.

I would not recommend burrito from this please. If you stick regular chicken or wings this is a great place.

When we to London some time back, we tried Nandos and were on a search for something comparable in the bay.

Lucky enough, we have Port of Peri Peri here where their whole menu is halal. Their Portuguese style grilled chicken is juicy, delicious, and super flavorful. We have gone multiple times over the years, dining in and doing takeout.

Love all of their sauces and sides. We always order the family platters with the peri mayo corn and peri fries. Get the grilled paneer if you’re up for it also.

I also recommend their ribs and brisket burger. Portions are not as big for these items though.

For desserts, I always get their pastel de natas (Portuguese egg tarts) which are delicious.

We loved visiting their Palo Alto location, but they closed down.

Tried the whole chicken platter, and it did not disappoint! The flavors were fantastic, and the peri mayo corn stole the show among the sides. Service was fast and efficient. Will definitely be back!

Port of Peri Peri in Fremont offers a delightful experience for chicken lovers, particularly those who enjoy a spicy kick. The chicken is tender, juicy, and bursting with flavor. It is marinated and grilled to perfection, making it incredibly tasty. The hot and very hot sauces provide a fiery yet enjoyable heat, while the lemon garlic sauce offers a refreshing and zesty contrast. Compared to similar dishes from the Middle East, the chicken at Port of Peri Peri stands out with its exceptional softness and rich taste.

Additionally, the French fries seasoned with peri peri masala complement the chicken well. They are crispy and well-seasoned, providing a flavorful side that enhances the overall dining experience. Overall, Port of Peri Peri in Fremont delivers a satisfying meal with its expertly prepared chicken and flavorful sides.
