I recently had the pleasure of dining at the Port of peri peri, and I must say, it was a delightful experience from start to finish. The chicken dish I ordered was not only delicious but also cooked to perfection. The blend of flavors was outstanding, and it left me wanting more.

On the recommendation of the very nice and enthusiastic cashier, I tried the chicken and rice bowl! The peri peri sauce was delicious and just the right level of spicy and the rice was seasoned perfectly. The included garlic sauce was a nice and tasty bonus! Will be coming back here in the future for sure.

Had the Short Ribs and Original Chicken Platter. The meat was juicy and plump. As usual, we love to drench the rice with hot sauce and white sauce. Be mindful of the heat level…their “medium” translates to my “hot”

First the good: chicken leg and thigh(mild) were incredibly flavorful and delicious with peri peri and being grilled. Bryiani rice was perfumed with lemon, and California medly steamed vegetables had smoked paprika and were steaming hot, but previously frozen and unremarkable. Service was prompt, and the decor of restaurant was warm and inviting. The not good: chicken leg portion with thigh was very small, disappointing at $8.25, with no sides or drink included. Restroom was nasty and needing attention, as well as the dirty floor, walls, and baseboards, leading to Restroom area. Overall, I would only return if portions were larger, and, cleanliness improved. I would not order from here using a delivery service as with increased fees, I don’t know how you wouldn’t be disappointed with the portion sizes, and unremarkable sides.

I was incredibly disappointed in this place. I adore other restaurants of this type and was excited to try it but the experience was just bad.

This is the best location of the franchise! We’ve traveled 2+ hours to different locations since there none near us, and this location is by the best. The staff are very friendly and accommodating, the chicken is cooked perfectly, the seasoning and sauces are delicious and plentiful. We’ve been hooked ever since we visited this location and are always looking for reasons to travel that way to enjoy!

I’ve been wanting to try this place and I was pleasantly surprised! I got the chicken bowl with rice and two sides of the Mayo corn and the cassava fries for about $20. This place definitely has heat/spice so if you are not a fan of heat, I would go mild or maybe no heat at all. I found the mild to have plenty enough heat. The chicken was juicy and very well seasoned. The Mayo corn is like a version of elote and I highly recommend it. It helps kill some of the heat in the dish and is just plain good by itself. I would not get the cassava fries again, they’re good but not great, texture is a bit too firm almost like they were undercooked. There is extra sauce (spicy and a Mayo based sauce) where the drink dispenser is located, I recommend both. In case you can’t tell from the pictures, this place is fast casual similar to a chipotle or Panera. I will definitely be coming here again!
