My first time visiting and it has now set the bar for restaurant experiences elsewhere. I have to remind myself, not many restaurants will have Farm to table products. However, the preparation the culinary taste was immaculate. Not only did the wonderful manager come out greet and check on us. The owner was there as well and made it apparent to do the same. When rarely you see management today take the time to show all customers they care or matter, and I thank them for that. This is truly a recommended restaurant experience. I advise anyone reading this to partake. The food, and the service will truly be worth your time and money.

Dining at The Porch Pour was such a wonderful experience. The place is beautiful, and the food was absolutely delicious from start to finish. We started with a salad topped with goat cheese, cranberries, and pecans—fresh, perfectly balanced, and full of flavor.
The pork chop was the real star of the meal: cooked perfectly, incredibly tender, and paired with a cranberry sauce that was rich and flavorful without being overpowering. The loaded mashed potatoes were indulgent, creamy, and downright irresistible—comfort food done right.
On top of the amazing food, the service truly made the night. Ian was an amazing server—friendly, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. He made sure everything was perfect and added to the overall great experience.
Highly recommend The Porch Pour for both the food and the service. We’ll definitely be back!

We dined at a farm-to-table restaurant in Midlothian, Texas, housed in a charming old converted home.
Steaks were prepared simply and expertly. No overpowering seasoning, just balanced salt, pepper, and butter enhancing excellent beef flavor.
The Brussels sprouts combined cranberry, maple, and pecans, forming a unique side dish.
The loaded pulled pork truffle hog fries were fantastic and fully loaded. The portion size was perfect. Great appetizer for four people!
The experience was elevated by the owner personally thanking us and a lively, attentive server.
The kids loved the Wikki sticks. We played with them throughout the dinner which added a little craft family time to the dinner.
The kids also loved the sorbet.
Thanks,
Ray

Love the immaculate, historic building! We chose to sit at the bar and had an incredible dinner with impeccable service. Our bartender and server, Jo was a delight to talk with!
Now for the food. The menu changes every 6 months, so in early 2026 my wife had the tenderloin and I tried the gnocchi. The gnocchi is unique and my wife said “her favorite gnocchi she’s ever had!”
The bread pudding is fantastic, keep some room for that!!

We LOVED our evening in the dining room here tonight. The house is an 1894 Victorian from Waxahachie. Beautifully renovated to accommodate open, yet intimate dining. The staff was so friendly and attentive. Tina helped ensure every detail was perfect. Our food server was Steven, who made excellent recommendations and is friendly, humorous and attentive. I had a fine NY strip steak, but the maple brussel sprouts won the day. Best I’ve ever had. My wife got the Beef Bruschetta with shredded Walser Farms braised beef on herb-buttered crostini, tomatoes and balsamic glaze. We finished with the white chocolate bread pudding. It was an absolutely fantastic experience.

Absolutely beautiful! The food was fantastic as was the drinks. However, the prices were absolutely exorbitant like way Way high! I got two drinks and an appetizer. Not even the most expensive appetizer which consisted of two fried brisket balls and my bill is $80!!

Amazing! I stumbled on this place and wow blew me away! It was so beautiful inside and out. Loved the history behind it. Our server Tina was amazing! So friendly and walked us through the menu. Cocktails were delicious. I got the chef special, which was the salmon and it was amazing. Definitely exceeded my expectations. Very happy with my visit.

The cheesesteak egg rolls were a perfect balance, avoiding the common pitfalls of being overly salty or excessively cheesy.
The chicken and waffles presentation was interesting. It arrived featuring a honey buffalo sauce. I appreciate a restaurant that strives to avoid mundane dishes and push culinary boundaries. In this case, the execution missed the mark. I highly recommend ordering the honey buffalo sauce on the side. This way, you can control the amount & perhaps prevent the flavor profile from becoming overly chaotic. Personally I’d scrap this idea and start over.
While the bartender was engaging, the rest of the staff—unfortunately—came across as monotonous and uninterested.

This was our Sunday explore for different places to eat. I can say the deviled eggs with pulled pork was great. Wife has hot chicken and waffles, she boasted about it and I did try and it was good. I had the cowboy hash and this is where it went south. I asked for med rare steak and got what I believe to be a boiled steak that was well done. I never salt my food and I actually had to salt my meal to add some flavor. Eggs were over med when I asked for over easy. The atmosphere was nice and the wait staff was very friendly. With two out the three tasting good we will go back not for brunch and maybe try the dinner/lunch menu.

Loved this restaurant. Really cute on the outside & inside. The food tasted high quality/fresh & everything was delicious. I loved their menu. They had fun, unique options that made it feel like a special place to visit. I love that they change up their menu options every so often, & the variety, quality, & flavor. Would come back again.
