The Porch is a ‘must visit’ for anyone who loves fresh, local ingredients, excellent service, and INCREDIBLE food. The owner, Chef Jen, is so warm and welcoming and treats everyone like they are her best customer, whether it’s your first or fiftieth time there. Everything on the menu is my favorite, and the weekly specials are always so creative and delicious. I love the ease of taking something to go, but the atmosphere and company at the cart make you feel like you are truly having a meal on your favorite neighbor’s porch. ❤️

Wow, wow! My husband and I just discovered this little gem. Worth the trip for a delicious brunch menu that changes to fit the seasons. If the weather is good, they’ll put out cute little tables for eating. Beautiful!

Today I finally stopped by to grab a bite to eat at The Porch at Laurel. A small foot cart in the parking lot of the old Laurel Country Store.
I chose to have the Strata with an orange juice, and take it to go. I never made it out of the parking lot. The smell of my food was too tempting, the atmosphere was a quiet country setting and since there were a handful of people eating, there was a joyful murmur with lots of laughter and good vibes.
The two ladies making and serving their home made food were a mix of kindness, friendly, neighborly (even though I don’t live nearby), and a sense of familial charm.
I wish I had paused to take a picture of the food, but once I opened the container (remember, I ordered it to-go), it was all out consumption and savoring the experience.
I HIGHLY recommend stopping by and it is well worth the short drive out if you are wanting to explore and have a true foodie experience!

I wish I had taken a photo of the avocado toast but truth is I gobbled it down so fast!!! It was hands down the best avocado toast I have ever had! Now I get to finish with a delicious dirty chai! Will definitely go there again and again! I’m so happy Jen set up shop close to us!!!

Fantastic local eatery! We just moved to the area and are thrilled to have Porch just down the street. You are our new go to! My husband had the BJ’s burrito and I had the regular one. Both were fantastic. The coffee is bold and very good. The owner is friendly and welcoming.
