Felix truly made our experience unforgettable. The drinks were absolutely amazing—crafted with care, flavor, and perfection. Beyond that, his hospitality was top-tier: welcoming, attentive, and genuinely kind. You can tell he loves what he does, and it shows in every detail. Thank you, Felix, for such a great experience!

The Porch at Bryant Park was a pleasant surprise. We were just looking for a place t get a drink and do some people watching, and we ended up getting that, and some delicious bites as well. The pricing was high, as it seems as it is in most places in NYC. The chicken salad was fresh, nicely grilled chicken, and you could tell the dressing was made from scratch. The drinks were OK, but could have been more creative in such an iconic arts location. I would definitely consider going there again, especially when the weather is so pretty.

Came for a Saturday evening drink and was very relaxing. Place combines NYC street sounds on the left and calm park views on the right. Wine and beer selection does the job.

The atmosphere was okeyish, but that is the only ok thing what I can tell about this place. The cocktails were meh, for 21-22$ served in the cheapest plastic cups, the service was very slow, both during order and during payment. For this reason we decided not to leave any tip. Imagine my surprise when 2 days after our visit my payment was updated with 20% tip. As I did not keep the receipt, who would from few drinks, I was not able to claim it with my bank. I hope you are happy with that tip which was not earned. I couldn’t recommend this place to anybody.

Felix is an absolute gem, he made the experience unforgettable. From the moment we arrived, he was warm, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. If you’re visiting Bryant Park, do yourself a favor and ask for Felix. He turned a great setting into a truly exceptional experience. We’ll absolutely be back because of him!

As someone who worked in the restaurant business for quite some time, I understand policies are implemented for a reason.

This past week our party of 7 were stopping in for some appetizers and cocktails. Friends were already seated and my wife and I entered shortly afterwards. As there is heavy traffic nearby and the surroundings are reminiscent of a bizarre, you would imagine that places are pretty flexible.

Well, I entered the place with a small flight of pickles I had purchased around the corner. There were 3 left – which I wanted our friends to try. We were rudely told that we could not enter. I explained we were going to order drinks and food and that they would be done in a minute. We were then again rudely told we could not bring the items in. I explained I’ll take my business elsewhere then, which was received with a snooty “have a good day.”

Our friends were in the middle of ordering then picked up their belongings and left.

The Porch lost out on an easy 150-200 dollar mid-afternoon tab from us.

The fact that staff has to basically live of their tips, doesn’t make them automatically better in hospitality. I stayed one and a half hour at The Porch at Bryant Park, but I had to make sure I got service myself, not because the servant was paying attention himself! Neither did he get the orders right. The place itself deserves better staff, because it is a great place to rest and enjoy New York’s Bryant Park.

Im not happy at all. I came with a group of 10. 6 kids and 4 adults. We bought chicken for some of the kids and they won’t let them in to eat. My child couldn’t eat her food because no outside food was allowed. I would understand this at an indoor dining restaurant. This is out door at the middle of a park. And manager was having an attitude when u asked.. This happened on a sat at 2 pm. I almost left with Paying and not taking the meal but the waiter that served us was very nice.
