Nice local watering hole-bar and grill. Basic menu and the food was ok. Chips accompanying sandwich were served in the bag…Waitstaff was friendly and knew the tap beers well. Friendly but we definitely felt like we”weren’t from here” when we walked in…definitely caters to locals….but “Minnesota nice” prevailed regardless!

The renovated and expanded kitchen serves up satisfying fare. The “Mallard” chicken sandwich is an absolute standout. Drinks are strong and cheap and the service is always friendly. Overall a great option where very few exist.

Food was great! There were multiple menu items I’ve never even thought of before. We tried two of them and they were both better than expected. Particularly considering the young age of the chef! Service was great especially for having one server while being busy (multiple tables with 6+ people).

We were out cruising the local trails and took a break here. Snowmobile friendly right on the trail. Great food fast with friendly staff.
