Great location with exceptional outdoor seating. There is even a little creek and bridge. Great place to chill out for an hour before driving to Sacramento. The girl working was excellent and helpful. The food was great but typical greasy friend type place. This will be a regular stop for me in Quincy when Im passing through town.

Pros:
– Very friendly employees that are customer focused
– Large serving sizes
– Food was well made and tasted great
– Good value
– Shaded picnic tables to eat at
– Restrooms available (albeit the world’s smallest)
Cons:
– Bees
We always see this place when driving through Quincy and finally decided to stop. Our order was a grilled cheese sandwich, fries, jalapeno poppers, and a slush. The food was piping hot and very tasty with large portions. We ate at a shaded picnic table and appreciated that it was provided as we don’t like to eat in our vehicle. The employee that helped us was friendly, fast, and focused. We received all of the condiments that we asked for.
The building has a yellow jacket problem and the owners need to hire pest control. Lots of bees coming and going from the roof line near the menu board facing the parking lot.
We will stop here again in the future and try other menu items.

We make it a point to stop by the Polka Dot whenever we’re in the area. It’s one of those classic spots that seems to be fading from the landscape as time rolls on. There’s a retro feeling as if going back in time. We visit for the classic fare a burger, fries and a shake. Always good service and consistently good food. Depending on the time of day there can be a bit of a wait. Considering the spacious outdoor area there’s always a nice place to sit and hang out until your number is called over the loudspeaker.

The burger was good, although it was burnt where the cheese had melted under and chared the edge and cheese. Otherwise, good.
The corn dog .. I have no words. We had already left and was on the road when we opened the corn dog. Gross. Gooie, yuck! I think the fryer oil needs changed, and way under cooked corn mix.

They have tables outside or eat in your car like a good old fashioned car hopp. No dining room available. The food is very good, it’s kind of a build your own burger type menu.

Great burger! Fries were so-so, kinda greasy but not horrible. The oddest thing was the little tiny bathrooms. Would be better to have one larger one than two of them, both too small to easily use.

Fries were soggy and obviously had been under the warmer even though I was the only person waiting. Buffalo fries were disappointing. 2 orders of soggy FF for $15 is pretty steep!

We ordered 2 cheeseburgers and 2 fries at 5:30 pm and didn’t even mind waiting 45 minutes for our food. Our cheeseburgers and the buns were burnt beyond recognition. You’d think after waiting 45 minutes, the food would be perfect. Don’t go here. I wasted $36.00 on this food. I will never go here again.
