Porchlight Coffee Co. offers a quality coffee experience in a great space. We carry fair trade and direct trade coffee and make our unique flavoring syrups from scratch. We serve breakfast and lunch all day and carry select fresh-baked pastries and great non-coffee drink selections, such as matcha and loose leaf tea. Almost every item on our food menu can be made gluten free. We have ample seating as well as a conference room that can be reserved. We have free wi-fi, free on-site parking, and curbside pickup. We strive to make our space welcoming and inviting to all!

Well travelled and love stopping at different local coffee shops as opposed to the big chains.
The fact that this place was in my own backyard right here in Akron and I only discovered it this year is crazy.
Some of the best coffee and lattes I have ever had! The are incredibly accommodating to those with celiac and I have eaten here 4 times with no issues.
The manager said hi wife has celiac so the staff is well trained in understanding of the disease and is over accommodating.
You will never be met with a frown and each staff member stemmed genuinely happy to be there.
Need a quick bite I highly recommend the peanut butter toast! (See pic)
If I could 6 stars I would!

I really enjoyed my visit! It’s definitely a popular place that attracts a young crowd. Almost all the tables (and there’s so many) were taken but we got a fun comfortable spot at the bar to drink, eat, and work remotely. Free Wifi! The staff are all very friendly, our drinks and food all tasted fresh and delicious, and the interior is very stylish. I loved my BLT and my friend loved her Jalapeno Popper Grilled Cheese. The only negative was that, because it’s so popular, we had a hard time finding parking outside. But definitely worth the struggle. I’m excited to come back and try something new!

This was a bit of a drive for us, but worth it. The vibes are chill but modern, moody but light, quality but affordable. The staff were very friendly and accommodating to our dietary needs, and I loved that the place was kid friendly! Coffee was made with quality ingredients, and my breakfast sandwich looked super unique (unfortunately I did not get a picture, but the square shaped egg was SO COOL), but tasted amazing. I would definitely make the drive again!

Porchlight was an oasis in the midst of what turned out to be a difficult day. I planned to only spend two hours there but ended up spending six! Their cold brew was incredibly crisp and fruity, the breakfast sandwich was so yummy, their high tower drip cold brew was strong and flavorful, and the peach oatmeal dessert out of this world. Love the music, love the service, love the seating, love the whole place!! One of my new favorites!

The food is delicious, the coffee is the BEST. The seating arrangement isnt too crowded and its not too loud. This business supports a greater cause, the owner is a kind gentleman, and the employees are friendly! There is a changing specialty list of drinks that are insanely creative and different. It is a popular spot for people to work on their laptop, so it may be difficult to snag a table with a plug.

My ordering experience was super easy and the baristas were super friendly! Everything was kept up nicely and was very clean in here.
I ordered a maple oat milk cappuccino and a breakfast sandwich on ciabatta. Both were perfectly balanced, and the oat milk in the cappuccino had a great texture, it wasn’t too airy. The maple paired nicely with the flavor of their espresso.
Overall a great experience and I’ll be back. ❤️

Love the atmosphere in this place. There is a room in the back for a bit more privacy if you needed a quiet place to study. Plenty of outlets, plants, and friendly staff to chat with!!
One of my favorite things they serve is their Orange Cardamom latte!!! Guys—if you like fruity flavors and never imagined citrus in a coffee: try this one.

We ordered the baked oatmeal and the peanut butter bread. Fantastic quality ingredients! The coffee was also delicious. The draft vanilla latte was spectacular. The interior of the location is very nice with rooms to meet and local art on the walls.

Stopped in for a bite and some coffee between appointments. It was early, but the place was about 1/2 full. The staff was very helpful and friendly. There was a steady stream of customers during the 90 minutes we were there. Many were clearly regulars. Our food was good and our drinks were perfect. The atmosphere was low key, and felt comfortable and welcoming. Having a meeting room you can reserve is a nice addition. We enjoyed our visit and will be back.

Porchlight Coffee feels like it’s having a bit of an identity crisis—it’s not totally clear if it wants to be a true coffee shop or something else. The vibe is a bit off and the environment feels somewhat strange, which made it hard to settle in.
That said, the space does have some charm. The tables are beautiful, but not very functional if you’re using a mouse or trying to get serious work done.
The coffee itself is decent—not quite my preferred taste, but I can see how others might enjoy it. It has quality, just not the flavor profile I personally look for.
