The Pointe Restaurant at the Wickaninnish is one of those rare places that lingers long after you have left. We visited in November, and months later we’re still talking about our experience, hence this long overdue review.
Our service and our server were immaculate. Attentive without being intrusive, polished yet warm, the interactions were thoughtful and effortless. Timing, recommendations, and overall care were handled seamlessly, allowing the experience to unfold at a relaxed pace.
The setting is spectacular, with sweeping ocean views. This is service done right, elevating an already exceptional setting and Hotel. A memorable dining experience and absolutely worth the visit.

The Pointe is a worthy stop during your trip to Tofino. The food was incredible, service was perfect and the view of the waves from the restaurant is like no other in Tofino. We visited for brunch in December 2025 and could see the massive waves hitting the rocks. I ordered the lamb shakshuka and I would recommend sharing because it’s very filling and hearty and shared the fried chicken sandwich which was bursting with flavour.

The view is absolutely insane, and the atmosphere is amazing too! The staff are very friendly, and the prices are reasonable.
The chicken sandwich with kimchi was so delicious — I still remember that meal! However, the burger wasn’t great — the patty was quite burnt.
Overall, you have to visit this place for the view alone — it’s totally worth it!

Been there many times. First time I had to deduct one point for food, as the main course “goose” was aöready hard to cut, let alone to eat. The second version that came after my complaint was only slightly better. However all other courses were great and the service really enjoyable. And the setting is just awesome.

Superb restaurant. Tasting menu is phenomenal from start to finish. Great selection of local ingredients for each step. Combination of flavours and textures is delicious. Wine pairing is carefully selected and blends nicely with every dish.

This is a 5 star restaurant, from the gorgeous entrance, warm welcome, attentive service and sommelier. Their menu matches any big city upscale restaurant, however… I found the food so much fresher! Almost all local ingredients used, so delicious!!!
