The waitress had an unfriendly demeanor and seemed to hate her job. The place was swarming with flies, the toast was cold, the sausage patties were undercooked and they ran out of pancakes and crossed off the breakfast steak and the French toast on their menu. The egg was decent and the hash browns were good. There were two people in the place before us, and we waited 35 minutes for the world’s slowest cook to make 4 traditional breakfasts!! It explained why the toast was so cold. When moving another customers plate of food to another part of the counter, a sausage patty and a piece of toast fell from the plate onto the counter. The waitress grabbed the patty and the toast with her bare hand and put them back on the plate. Had that been mine, I would’ve sent it back. The waitress was super condescending when I couldn’t understand her when she was asked me how I wanted to pay for the food. I would NEVER go back to this place again! Based on the owner’s response, that is everything you need to know about the place. The flies were fighting to get OUT. And yes, I should’ve gone to McDonald’s. The owner keeps responding to my comment, which again, is everything you need to know. Rather than focus on streamlining their grossly inefficient process or talking to the servers about having a friendly attitude, they defend their conduct and poor service. I don’t remember anything about the waitress’ teeth, but her attitude was awful and she was very condescending. I publicly apologize for eating at your restaurant.

Marla is great! They are normally not open on Mondays. But I called a head and she agreed to open for my friend and myself to have lunch. Marla is the best!!!! And the food was great also.

Great comfort food. Love the fries! I had the chicken wrap and everything was super fresh. My Dad, who is an 80 something connoisseur of BLTs, says his was outstanding. Hubby had the French dip was delicious. The pista resistance was the dessert. Homemade butter cake with homemade apple topping from the owner’s own apple trees.

Out of the way place with great food and service. I had a chicken wrap with fries. My husband had fish tacos. Both amazing. Great job Marla!!

This place was really nice and very clean. Of course, it’s in the middle of nowhere, so pricing was a little high. The food was very homemade and tasty. The service was perfect. Marla was the cook and server, so it wasn’t fast like the city. I was in Arizona to visit my sister, It gave us time to chit chat and visit. Overall, it was nice, and we will be back.

This place is awesome. We stopped in for lunch a few days ago (8 of us). Burgers were flavorful and the fries were hot. Chicken tenders were large and moist. Grilled cheese looked great with a lot of cheese. Gotta mention that we were lucky enough to get the last order of bacon wrapped jalapeño poppers. If you stop by here to eat, you MUST get these. Best I’ve had anywhere. Service was great and prices more than reasonable for the high quality of food.
