I really wanted to like this place. I walked in expecting bold flavors, heat, smoke, and that unmistakable jerk seasoning that hits you before the plate even touches the table. Instead, I left questioning reality.
This was, without exaggeration, the worst jerk chicken I have ever had in my life—and that’s what makes it especially painful. This came from a Jamaican cook. Someone who absolutely knows better. That context matters, because this wasn’t just bad food… it was a cultural fumble.
Let’s start with the jerk chicken. Zero flavor. No heat. No spice. No depth. No smokiness. No jerk. It tasted like plain chicken that had once heard rumors about seasoning but never actually met it. I kept waiting for something to kick in—salt, pepper, scotch bonnet, allspice—anything. Nothing ever showed up.
Then there was the presentation. The chicken was carved like a Thanksgiving turkey. I’m talking clean holiday slices, like someone was about to pass the gravy and ask what I was thankful for. Sir, why is my jerk chicken being carved for a family dinner at grandma’s house? That alone should’ve been a warning sign.
As if that wasn’t enough, I was also given chicken suya. And I need to be very clear here: this suya tasted like it was seasoned with the essence of tire shavings. Not “a little burnt.” Not “charred.” Straight rubber-adjacent. Like someone waved a Michelin tire over the grill and called it flavor. I took one bite and immediately reconsidered my life choices.
This meal was confusing, disappointing, and honestly offensive to both jerk chicken and suya as concepts. When you walk into a place expecting heritage, skill, and pride in the food—and instead get bland poultry carved like it’s Thanksgiving with a side of Goodyear—you feel betrayed.
I don’t write reviews lightly, but this one needed to be said. If you’re craving real jerk chicken with actual flavor and heat, look elsewhere. This was a miss on every level, and coming from someone who knows better, that makes it worse.
⭐️ Would not recommend.

I attended a night party at Platinum Restaurant (Randallstown) and paid for a single drink using contactless tap. The card machine clearly displayed the amount before I tapped, but when the payment was processed, I was charged double that amount. This is unacceptable and very frustrating.
Please review your point-of-sale system and staff procedures to ensure customers are charged exactly what’s shown on the terminal. In the meantime, I’d advise other guests to double-check their receipts and banking app after paying.

Wow, this J rice is amazing! I usually don’t order J rice when I eat out, but I’m so glad I did this time. I think there might have been a miscommunication with my order due to the loud music, but I’m not even mad because this J rice is so good. It instantly lifted my mood. The bottom line is that you won’t regret spending money here. Also S/O to my homeboy DJ Taf his throw back were fireeeeee.

Me and my friend are usual customers but that’s beside the point . We got there two weeks ago on a Saturday night and there was no one to attend to us for over 30 minutes and our table hadn’t been cleared of the empty bottles and dirty tissue on the table, eventually I had to walk into the lounge and ask one of the waitresses and asked her for assistance to clear the table and get our orders and before I could ask for the drinks , she basically pointed to the trash bin across us and told us to throw the used bottles and stuff into the trash bin … don’t know her name but she had tattoos all over her arms and legs . Very disrespectful.

The food was so so so good. I got the rasta pasta with shrimp Ahmazing! And my sis got the beef suya . Delicious! The only thing that we did not like is the wait on the food. I believe we waited at least 1hr and 15 minutes. Gotta do better with that and also the umbrella where we were seated kept hitting us in the head, I guess it was just flimsy or wasnt placed correctly. The food was definitely Chefs kiss though. Great music too! Would I patron again? Yes if im in the neighborhood.
